I would think that any amount of retards doing that to get stickers is matched (imo, dwarfedAnother part of the problem is it encourages people to keep posting in threads even when nothing particularly interesting is happening with the cow like a common complaint in the rekieta thread is how gay it gets when he doesn't stream for a few days and it's because people can't just ignore a thread for a few days and then come back to it because they don't even check their watched thread list they rely on sticker notifications and if they aren't getting any stickers then how could they possibly know the thread is moving? And they need that constant influx of entertainment from their favorite cow because their brains are broken.
As a side note the reactions received doesn't have the handy red circle indicating you haven't seen it yet. Also, with the notifications and number of unseen on the bell, you also knew when there weren't reactions, so no clicks needed! Sigh, old ways were efficient ways.
100% Null has a LOT of patience (until the tipping point, lol).I've known @Null for over a decade now. He is a pretty reasonable person. He puts up with shit until it becomes too much of a hassle for him to deal with and has quite a bit of patience before something gets to that point. He likely is sick of dealing with the autism surrounding sticker notifications and honestly I can't say that I blame him
But most people aren't driven to tears or suicide-baiting or bitching about seeing neg ratings, are they? (Other than legit [relatively speaking] complaints about retards who go through and neg rate a hundred of someone's comments because they are (possibly literally) children; most forums do discourage that.).
So it seems that it's the people who are problematic for other reasons who are also the annoying complainers. And now the whole class has to stay inside for recess! That's OK; we can color instead.
I admit I am amused getting a notification that once again certain posters rated a comment of mine mati/dumb even when I agreed with them. I'm not even kidding: It's funny in its stupidness and also because the notification clashed with my zero-inbox rule and made me look.personally i think sticker notifications are just spam and clutter, they shit up the notification feed and make it near useless so i have them disabled
but i guess people who use the site less feel differently
like when you make one post a week then it's probably nice to get these "senpai noticed your post uwu" notifications every once in a while
But if you suck you should be reminded of that. :-)it's not about the content of posts, it's literally all about the actual reaction score. a mean post is a mean post, but eventually it'll be forgotten about
but a negative or low reaction score means that you have shitty, unpopular opinions and it's a constant reminder that you suck
disclaimer: the above are meant to be on-topic comments in a discussion thread about stickergate, not arguing the decision. I get the theory of the change and will survive, even though I appreciated the feature as it made engagement in a very large site a little more efficient to use.
