Yup.

Was in a failing relationship and opened it up at the end. She pretty much dove off into fucking every dick that came her way, and if I had any objection then it was "none of my business" and etc etc. Yet every woman I got involved with, she somehow had a deep personal negative history with that she would use to disqualify and cock block.

Anyway, I'm happily married, she's on husband number 4. This one drives a UPS truck instead of flipping burgers at Waffle House, so she's on the up and up.

Had some former friends who did this. Borderline former-megaho wife marries extremely sheltered husband and introduces him to burner and swinger/poly culture. She insists they go poly because she still wants to fuck around but as soon as he starts making connections of his own and hooking up with one or two people, she has a complete meltdown and guilt trips him into going monogamous again. Then she tries to get her best friend into a triad with both of them but the friend ends up wanting to see husband separately and she freaks out again and it almost completely ruins their friendship. She locks down the relationship again claiming it was "too stressful on their marriage" when in reality it was all her being extremely controlling and paranoid.

They're still married. Shes still lowkey bitter about not being able to fuck whoever she wants. I hope the husband realizes how controlling she is and gets away some day.

I've seen this happen in a different way. Chick breaks up with dude to fuck other guys, but wants to keep the now ex close in case it's not as good as she thought. She ends up not getting laid at all and her ex fucks her best friend almost right away. It was hilarious watching the broken brain chick try to work it all out convincing herself she wasn't the idiot.

whats more frustating is that often those men (and women) realize they are getting played, they still stay for way longer than logic can explain because they are insecure and don't think they'd manage to start from scratch again and ever find somebody better. People will low self esteem are easy targets to become the doormat of manipulators and chronic abusers, there's always glaring power imbalances and gaslighting in these arrangements.
 
I've noticed a strong push from the poly people on fb lately.

I creep some advice groups and what not, and typically people are bitching about relationships. It's pretty common to see a few posts a day about how someone is falling for their coworker, or suspects the same of their spouse.

There will at least be one vocal prick in the comments screaming about polyamory, and crying that everyone is s mean bigot when people tell them they're not interested.

Custody disputes are always hell on earth with 2 parents. How do they think it's gonna work out with 4? Ask any lawyers, they'll tell you family court will make you lose your faith in humanity. If whoever birthed the child is smart, she'll be the only one on the birth certificate to make it easier when the inevitable split happens. Some courts and legislatures already recognize tri-parenting though. Good luck with custody agreements if they did that.
