The ILJ thread (and subforum when she had one) was awful for this. People absolutely foaming at the mouth over some shitty discord op and her pathetic attempts at damage control. They took it really, really personally for some unknown reason. Was embarrassing to watch in all honesty

I think the reason for that overreaction was because of who her father was(a spook or something I think?)and him basically keeping her out of trouble.

Potential or actual government corruption tends to magnify outrage about something. Granted that this only explains the unfunny nature of her threads, it doesn't excuse them.

I think many of the users there also believed she weened her way into convincing Chris to fuck his mom. Honestly the problem was she really wasn't interesting enough to warrant a subforum. ILJ herself was essentially just a female version of Nick Bate, but all she really did to Chris was just give him the push needed to do the deed he's wanted to do for god knows how long.

How fucking hard can it be for the newfags to understand we are here to laugh at people. We are not here to be emotional turbo-faggots to be laughed at. We are here to laugh at the turbo-faggots, not to be them.

See, the thing is people say that but I never agree with that whole "we're in it for the lols" thing.
The site clearly isn't just for laughing at people. It's also for character study, there are folks of all stripes from different countries who know interesting things, it gives an opportunity for creative expression, people forget that we're all practicing writing/formatting, I've seen foreigners' English improve as they've used the site. It's absolutely better for you than laying around watching freaking anime or whatever. Saying it's just for laughs is underselling it a little.

Imo what's most important though is isolationism, where people are here for each others' benefit. If someone wants to come to the site to get info, or thread subjects come here, then that's their business, but whatever other retarded fucking discourse goes on online should stay where it is unless it's being discussed in a meta sense.

If he was just a sad old man lashing out because he feels like shit then that would be sympathetic, but the problem is he specifically goes to areas of the site he knows will annoy him, gets annoyed, then goes to other places to passive-aggressively whine about it to people who deliberately don't go to those places.
