That's the idea, but without taxing the actual janny staff who don't want to be dealing with any more manhate/womanhate or ukraine/russia DMZ splits.

Yeah and the reason for that is the lethal combination of bot spam and (you)s/watcher extensions that eliminate the motivation for actually following and reading the threads you participate in. So this is a fucking excellent move.

Coolguys can say "stickers don't matter" as much as you want but the fact is every zoomer on the planet is conditioned to be conditioned by twitter and reddit and they're the reason kiwis have turned into such a boring dipshit hivemind.

They'll fucking get over it. It's gotta be these exact users complaining because we were able to navigate forums just fine before the post karma virus caught on.

I didn't like your idea until you gave an example and i found myself agreeing with you. That said though, wouldn't this just end up with people branching off into their own echo chamber threads for basically any topic where two sides clash?
I think it'd probably end up like the womanhate/manhate, russia/ukraine threads where instead of there being one thread that might be interesting, I find myself not bothered checking either because you're only gonna see one viewpoint.
TL;DR sure it probably solves one problem but IMO probably makes a bigger one

Also just using irc instead of Discord would keep something like 90% of the really retarded furries/pedos/schizos away. The remaining ones would be the more old school ones who were sane at at least some point in their empty, meaningless lives.

I don’t care that I can’t quickly check someone’s react score to check if they might be a troll.

I read all your post. I also enjoy pitbulls and would follow your hypothetical thread, that being said, I think it'd be far more comfortable and practical to be able to request mods make threads with topics at hand like the (wo)man hate threads or the vatnigger and hohol threads, God knows I'd have stopped following the latter if it splintered or the OP became a power-hungry janny.
