Money Problems/Success with Ordering From CWCVille Etsy/Ebay

I just can't picture anyone buying anything he has to offer for any reason other than to own a piece of internet memorabilia. But at the end of the day, that reason alone isn't worth the money spent.

I mean really, what are you gonna do with some poorly-crafted Sonichu medallion? Wear it every time you go out? I would hope not.

I mean, to some people the 30$ for a medallion is worth showing the 3 or 4 Chris-Interested friends they've got, laughing about it for about 12 minutes and then moving on with their life.

If wasting 30$ on something has a serious economic impact on your life you've got bigger problems than a compulsion to buy sloppily made autistic gear.

If only there would've been some way to know that sending money to mentally challanged boy/man/girl with questionable integrity and the work ethic of an over fed house cat for hand made product would NOT result in a square deal..
Life, bloody unfair.

The irony of a jew supporting the squandering of money.

Giving money to an autistic manchild with no sense of budgeting, work ethic or responsibility leads to not always getting the shitty product that would just sit in the bottom of your dresser drawer.

Gee, who could have possibly seen this coming?

Like I've stated before. I think owning a signed book from the Autist himself would have been a great conversation piece (especially if it was framed in my bathroom, <--that was NOT a lie) But... i filed a dispute 2 days ago with paypal and we have not received a response yet from Chris. So i just got home and Escalated it to a full blown claim. I'll have more details hopefully within 10 days on the outcome.

You have every right to do so, and I hope you get your money back. Chris had his chance to fulfill his end of the deal. He must think that if he's immune from garnishment of his Tugboat money because his primary income is SSDI, then it means he's immune from having money taken out of his Paypal account as well. Fatty's about to get a hard lesson.

I agree, rake him over the coals figuratively speaking, Chris does not receive SSDI, SSDI is for people who have worked for 10 years or more and have developed an illness, so they can no longer work, what Chris is getting is SSI, which is for people that are just disabled. SSDI is implicative that you will be reentering the work force at later date.

Another major difference is your entitlement to it is predicated on your having paid money into the program. Social Security Disability Insurance is, as its name states, an insurance program. The payments you receive under it depend on your lifetime earnings.

SSI is a needs-based welfare program and requires a certain minimum income.

He's had PayPal disputes before. He raged about it going into the red, then begged for more money.

I'm not in this debacle to be a douche, i just wanted a product that he apparently cannot deliver. My main reason for starting this forum was not to start an "Embargo" on his store, but to document the process of dealing with him in a business setting. I will get my money back, I'm sure, since I'm in good standing with Paypal (and have documented every single aspect of the transaction). I just want others who have thought about buying a piece of Christory to know what its like to deal him. Although I AM pretty jealous of some of the Success stories I've heard here. Worst comes to worst I'll buy something off of Zazzle.com and print my own Comics off the Wiki. Also, For those wondering if i didnt mention it already, I only spent $25. Comic #0, Comic #1 with $5 shipping. I can make my own Model Fuckin Magic Medallion if i needed to (without the embedded Autist tears).

Yes, SSI requires that you be dirt poor and report every single cent over 100 dollars you receive, cumulative, not just in one chunk.

No one sees you as being an A-Log about it. It's that you paid money for a product that you didn't receive and you have every right to get your money back one way or another. If Chris will not refund it voluntarily, then you have buyer protection from Paypal to have it taken from Fatty's account whether he likes it or not.

Getting a chunk of Christory would be nice, but all Chris is giving out are excuses and bait-n-switch stunts.

If you guys really want a piece of Christory you always could convince him to print and sign a few "protest" signs to tape on gamestore or wherever he's banned from and offer him to go and tape them for him.

Tape a couple on some random wall, take a pic and send it to him as "proof".
Now you have a few protest signs, signed by Chris himself. You can even sell them on ebay or craiglist for some beer and pizza money and after they run out you could tell Chris that the signs were destroyed by Jerkops so he needs to print and sign more.

You always will find people willing to buy them from you.

I don't think it's unreasonable to want your own piece of Christoria regardless of any use it might have aside from being a memento of sorts. I guess the lesson learned here is that if you go out of your way to get it, don't expect it to be as quick or easy as buying anything else online. "Caveat emptor" certainly applies more here than other situations, no doubt.

The medallions like are seriously the most sensible thing in the entire cwc market. They make gag gifts for people who know and don't know. Its dirt cheap to make and reproducible. And it's 30$. I might end up buying one or shipping one to my friend to freak them out miserably

Wasting money on stuff you don't need that might suck is what people with jobs do. It's like going to a movie, chances are it might suck, might have wasted 10-20 dollars but shitll grow back in a week
