Let me translate that for you, in case you don't speak soyboy dev-ish:

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

I'm sure glad they have their priorities set straight.
I'm pretty sure cheese is already in the game. Unless they're talking about some kind of cheese making system. Though that would be pointless and unneeded. Especially considering there aren't any cows in the game

and I like how that picture with all the cars looks like some native guys front yard on the reservation

The entire animal husbandry system seems like a fucking joke. Smithing is cool - I assume the scrap armor will offer the best protection in the game, since it's literal metal. Right now you can go to a fire department and you have the best protective gear in game (jacket + pants + helmet) in one, relatively safe loot run - now you will have something to work towards past week one. No one cares about animals unless you're doing a challenge or playing on a server with no loot respawn.
I want late game objectives, challenges, and fucking NPCs.

I do wish there was a way to make danger actually escalate over time. Maybe zomboids start out weak, and become smarter, better sprinters, or something.
that could be a mod. like a dynamic zombie settings change that happens on a weekly basis or something. id be surprised if that didnt already exist

Better horde migration could be nice. Right now if you clear out an area, you will encounter occasional stragglers here and there and that's it. I'd like to see Hershel farm type situation be more common. Yes, there is a horde night mod, but it's artificial and breaks in MP. Yes, there are random events like gunshots etc, but if the area was cleared already, they don't do much.

What is there really to this game right now? It seems like for the past 11 years all its been is just:
Wake up, find a random ass weapon, run around til you find something good like an axe/crowbar
Find building materials like hammers/saws/axes
Find a house, barricade it
HOARD FOOD AND GUNZ LOL
Even on the lowest spawn rate, food is abundant. Why even leave your home?

Same thing as before; you've pretty much summed up the whole game. The real gameplay comes from multiplayer (with friends, since PVP is dogshit), your own challenges (clear out X, use Y, roleplay as Z profession instead of going meta) etc. It's definitely more of a sandbox than a proper game.
The new husbandry system is the greatest example - why spend resources and time on animals if you can loot one supermarket for all the food you will ever need? Well, it's nice when you're doing challenge where you are staying in the forest.
That's why I'm waiting for NPCs. They're gonna be barebones at first, but modders will save us once again and there's definitely going to be some "rebuild civilization, manage resources" mod.

Fully agree. When I saw that B42 was going to have animals but no NPCs, I decided I'd be skipping this one. Who fucking cares about animals? Like, it's cool, but NPCs are what we want.
