My question is, what makes a man high status or low status? My assumption is one or more of looks, money, personality, physical strength, and skills, but I figured I’d ask anyway.
social status is popularity, fame, influence, power.
looks, money, personality, physical strength and skills are relevant only if they result in increased social status.

for example, you can train ultra hard in the gym for five to ten years and get mega strong, and women will give absolutely zero fucks about you being strong. but if you manage to then achieve some level of fame as a competitive weightlifter or fitness influencer, then women will start being impressed and care about it.

This reminded me of a polytard comic that was in the Washington Post recently. Hard to believe someone would voluntarily publish something this pathetic; I'm not sure she realizes what a massive L it is.

Not great photos available, but the artist (Book Karnjanakit) is a homely Thai immigrant now living in Baltimore. Wish I could find a pic of the boyfriend:

Bonus: the "women's interest" stuff in the Washington Post (apprx. 50% troon-related crap) used to be in a separate vertical called The Lily where comments were not allowed. They recently put it all back in the regular paper under a section heading called "Gender and Identity" and brought the comments back. Needless to say, idiots like this poly cartoonist, troons, and woke rhetoric like "pregnant people" always gets roasted to shit. You love to see it.

Aw man, she's super cute too.

Shame she's brainwashed into this cult shit

Then explain jason blaha or alex spartan/alpha destiny. Both famous fitness influencers and pro weightlifters (atleast at some point). Yet also giant losers that suck at dating. Meanwhile a good looking dude with abs can jump on tinder or go to a bar and have a much easier time getting laid despite being a nobody.

I think it's not black or white. Fame can help. Muscles can help. Good looks, power, money, social skills, friends and charm, all of those can help. None of them are guarantees and humans don't work that simple.

Yes some women will be impressed by you if you're famous. No, not every women because some might find you unattractive or boring. And likewise, some women might find you attractive and show interest, even if you're a nobody. Again, it depends on the woman.

I had to look up who Egon Schiele was. He painted paintings like this:

That man isn't exactly peak physical condition. And wtf is "ethical nonmonogamy"? I have a feeling it's about as ethical and totally not abusive as "trans child" or "vegan dog."
It's much worse than you think.
First of all when anyone talks about wanting to fuck anything of his, they're talking about his creepy nudes and sex scenes of gangly, corpse-colored weirdoes, sometimes missing heads or limbs.
Secondly Schiele was infamously hypersexual and had an open door policy for street urchins who would hang around the place while he was drawing porn.
He went to prison for an affair involving a 13 year old in a country where the age of consent was 14. What he did with homeless girls 14 and over wasn't even criminal.
That's what they're talking about with his "ethical nonmonogamy".

i don't know who alex spartan is but jason blaha is literally retarded. i remember him being a meme on 4chans /fit/ board many years ago, the guy has some kind of mental handicap i think, and last i heard of him he was nowhere near "pro weightlifter" and he certainly wasn't a famous influencer either, more like a slightly infamous obscure proto lolcow.
being "famous" the way chris chan is famous (a laughingstock routinely mocked and ridiculed by everyone who knows him) is not high social status, it's the polar opposite.

//now that i thought about it a bit more, i remember jason blaha being infamous for making up lots of obvious lies and bullshit stories about himself. like, he made up something about being special forces ex-military i think? also he was constantly mocked for posting lies about his lifting numbers and giving diet advice while being fat and out of shape himself.

Well, it's all relative. Sure Blahino is retarded, but he's still quite famous and well known, objectively. Same with his weightlifting. It's mediocre by pro standards, but still far higher than normal people.

yeah, claiming to be cia and whatnot. But still, he's relatively famous and he even coaches people.

Aella, a semi internet famous only fans girl writes about crippling insecurity contributed to by a toxic poly relationship and how the solution was... Becoming a prostitute.
Even more unbelievable is that her name is Rachael Slick, and her father is Matthew Slick, founder of CARM.

Quite an upsetting story, to be frank.

Oh, her home address is 1004 E 44th St, Austin, TX 78751.

Wow, we finally know her name.
The vibe I’m getting is it’s probably a bad idea to beat your children with a leather strap

Incidentally I’ve heard from someone in the rationalist community in Austin that her presence is causing some rifts.

Apparently there was a group within the community that came to the conclusion that society functions best when most people have traditional morality, like monogamy and marriage. Apparently a lot of it was a rules for thee not for me type of mindset, it’s just the plebs are too low IQ to handle things like poly but it’s fine for their elite brains (lmao). Her insistence on continuing to hold and promote orgy parties is what causes this group to split in 2.

The link is down and you didn't post an archive as far as I can see

Saw this and laughed at how pathetic it is.

That's weird, it was up only a few days ago. Looks like somebody from the blog read this thread and noticed. Good thing I archived it.
Calvinism is wack and I won't defend it, but this broad is clearly a couple tamales short of a combo platter and I think no matter what ideology she was raised with, she would have rebelled in an equally pointless way in some direction. From the archived link:

I informed my parents that I wanted an arranged marriage because love was a far too emotional and dangerous prospect, and I trusted them to make an informed choice for my future far better than I ever could. My romantic exploits through puberty were negligible.

She's neurotic, bottom line. A moderate, normal life was never in the cards. It was either arranged marriage (her idea, not theirs) or pedo apologist poly whore.

I ran away from home when I was 17 (due to reasons not pertinent to this post)

That's a big hmm, right there.

Interestingly enough, I found this rebuttal by her dad (archive link) which also makes a vague allusion:

As a father who loves his daughter and wants to protect his family, I will not reveal everything pertinent to the discussion. There is a lot that people don’t know.

Anyone have a theory on what's between the lines here? What was that event that spurred the running away and then cutting off her father, with whom by both her account and his she had previously had an unusually close (but not creepy close) relationship?

Also interesting find, this is her old reddit account.

I feel like it is pretty clear she was physically abused by her father. The blog she wrote for wanted to keep the discussion centered on religion. She also states on reddit she didn't want to hurt her family who still “supports” her father. That explains why she left it out and claimed it wasn’t “pertinent”. It makes sense for the fear of being beaten again to be the inciting incident that caused her to flee.

It also fits with the somewhat jarring mention of being disciplined with a belt in the blog. Corporal punishment and spanking is considered pretty normal in a lot of Christian spaces and people around them probably assumed she and the other children were disciplined “appropriately “ and not abused (whether hitting your kids is ever justified is something people can debate in another thread, im not going to get into it here). Abuse of this kind would also help explain her 180 degree rejection of her family’s beliefs and her revenge upon them by becoming a literal whore.

Come on, most of us of a certain generation were spanked as children and we’re not sucking dick for cock at truckstops because of it.

Did you know theres a difference?
according to the government, the law, the education system, and the media, no there isn't.
it sucks, because regular physical punishment is generally effective and harmless in the long run, but the powers that be have decided to conflate it with sadistic, cruel, violent abuse, so now you can have your children taken away over a literal slap on the wrist.

Where do you live? pretty sure it’s legal in most places in the US as long as you don’t cause injury. I think we can all agree if you’re sending the kid to the hospital that’s abuse.
