Plagued /r/TNOmod and the Reddit HOI4 modding community - When a subreddit for a video game mod turns to utter insanity

Here's a fun little morsel.

At the Cold War Iron Curtain discord server, (from what I understand) one of the contributors got into a discussion with another user about some ideology autism in relation to the Vietnam content. Both of them are apparently Vietnamese since they were both speaking it, and my best bet is that this very civil discussion continued elsewhere, since as it turns out the user reported the contributor to the People's Public Security of Vietnam, aka the commie secret police in those parts.

They're replacing current (pretty bad) UK content with the Fallen Lion submod, which has been nearing a first release recently. It's definitely outsourcing to a team with far more motivation and work ethic something they probably had no better ideas for, but it is definitely an improvement. Of course, it's also the loss of Wales and Scotland's content (they're being folded into the UK as a whole because their existence apparently didn't make sense), as well as (for now) a fair bit of England as the first release will only have some of the collab paths.

All in all, an improvement to England, but clearly one the TNO team themselves wouldn't have ever gotten around to doing if a group of motivated Brits hadn't done it for them.

Probably the only time I agree with tno "removing" content, since the regular tno Britain is so bad. it was full of dumb shit like mac being a collaborator even though he was on the Germans kill list. Or thatcher being a collaborator because the dev probably doesn't like the fact she's conservative. Plus TFL is probably the only submod that's is actually making progress with their mod and actually care about Britain unlike the regular dev team.

Plus the old content can be toggled back on anyways so it's not like anything is really removed, for now at least.

They're not gonna allow the TFL team to release their update seperately they're gonna package it with some update that the troons will never end up finishing
