The willingness of Western audiences to fight this war is genuinely baffling. If Biden wanted it, he could easily declare a no-fly over Ukraine with no political fallout! All those fools ignore that we have come incredibly close to a nuclear war. Putin is not the kind of man that tolerates humiliation well. We are witnessing a worse form of jingoism than that of the summer of 1914. Those individuals will shit themselves once they hear the first shell explode (like most of us would do), and they will beg their countries to save them. I can not imagine the reaction of those poor Ukrainian soldiers when they witness them...
Moreover, there are serious practical issues. It is well known (and someone posted an infographic before further hinting at it) that the Ukrainian Army lacks enough rifles and ammunition to even arm its own reservists. How are those fools going to find enough ammunition or food to supply themselves? Why would Ukrainian soldiers share their rations with some obese entitled degenerates?

On one hand, I'd like to see some of these fuckers get a reality check. On the other, I'm sure 90% will come back after doing menial labor and claim to be a Ukraine war veteran. We're going to be seeing a lot of "I volunteered/fought in Ukraine in 2022 and...." for the next few years, far more than actually volunteered.
The behaviour can only be explained by capeshit or a lack of understanding. Clearly none of these volunteers have so much as looked into history and war beyond the surface details like names of battles. I think the way the war in the middle East was presented to the West also makes combat zones seem comfortable for Western forces, being far more capable than sandmen.
I really hope at least some of them go and try to complain about their first world problems, or just say a lot of dumb ignorant shit and get laughed at. I want to see them get stoic for once but we can't count on them to not further warp their perception of the world.
Also with the Summer of Love in mind, is teaching these "non-violent" folx how to exercise further violence really a good idea?

If Putin gave the order to fire a nuclear weapon I'm willing to bet Nuclear War that his subsidiaries would have him immediately removed from office. I was hoping someone would make a thread about these retarded fucks. After /pol/ found out a lot of the really juicy posts (like the "this is just like star wars"/"were in Dumbledores army" type ones) were just blatant trolls but there is still much autism to be milked and refined there. For the few that do end up legitimately going, I don't think they're gonna find Ukraine to be the super cool pre-space travel socialist utopia they've been told about. They're going to have a bitch of a time even getting to the country, and if they're particularly lucky, they'll be able to settle in for a hot meal of boot leather and moldy boiled potatoes with a pint of bathtub vodka before they get a 7.54 round traveling through their abdominal cavity faster than mach speed.
And this isn't even going into the fact that in a lot of places it's kinda sorta super illegal for average citizens to go work as mercs against people their countries aren't at war with. Sure, the current admin might not want to persecute and arrest their darling little glowie youth brigades when they return home - but a future one might, and I'm fairly certain the statute of limitations for unlicensed international mercenary work is longer than 3 years.

Judging by some of the things they're saying I'm pretty sure none of them actually understand what war is. They think it's going to be like some video game or movie where the "good" side always wins and they don't have a chance at losing or being killed/hurt. The first sight of someone dying in front of them is going to trigger them so much worse then any pronoun joke ever could. How does someone become this removed from reality to not understand this?
