Does anyone have any info on this "Batman Call" thing? All I know about it is that some people tried trolling Chris on the phone and that it failed horribly. The CWCki doesn't have any information of it either.

It's not worth mentioning considering it adds close to no info about Chris.

Not to mention that the call is just basically mostly "I'M BATMAN!!!!!11!111" to Chris.

Why does Sonichu call Chrissy Father?

If I understand correctly wasn't Sonichu just a Pokeyman before getting raped by that Crystal thing? So would his father and mother be the parents of that Pokeyman?

Given that he turned out like a Hedgehog would that make Sonic is true Father?

Sonichu is Chris's father, in that Chris made him up. Trying to make sense of the family tree beyond that is an exercise in Tardism.

Remember, this is the same guy who gave his daughter and his twin sister the same name, and didn't get that it MIGHT make things awkward.

I think he said "Squinkies", in which case, they'd be these: http://www.squinkies.com/
They seem to be little cutesy figures, with various brand tie-ins, like Barbie or Power Rangers (so, right up Chris's alley).

The thing is though, I don't think he would have specifically bought her a gift, only for the fact that Squinkies sounds like something he'd enjoy immensely, so he probably had a bunch of extras. I'm thinking he would have come up with the fool proof plan to make his family love him, later.

The social aspects of believing in santa vs god aren't huge factors for changing someone's beliefs.* They just make you feel bad that you believe in santa/god. Maybe being exposed to new ideas might prompt you to investigate, and develop new views, but I think that's just like being exposed to new cultures in general. (Or, for some believers, it might drive you deeper into your beliefs, because of the evil outsiders persecuting you, or some shit)

*Especially for autists, but still works for normal people

Ultimately, I was just bringing up an example of a belief that was handed down to you by your parents and you accepted it as a child, despite it being silly and clashing with modern science, and believing it for your whole life.
Okay, but then why don't adults believe in Santa?

You can sit under that tree all night, but faith is not going to make gifts appear out of thin air.

To be fair here, Chris has always believed good things will come to him out of thin air without him having to do any work for it whatsoever. Whether it be his sweetheart, his daughter or his office job, happiness is always just around the corner as it was "basically promised". Chris never had much faith in anything, whether it be God or Santa, as much as he has always had faith in the universe being kind to him for the simple reason that he beliefs he deserves happiness and kindness for being an awesome dude.

I think that's pretty much the basis of his beliefs and his worldview.

Santa is theoretically tangible. Children believe a physical being does real things. Religion by definition is faith, meaning there isnt supposed to be any proof. Makes it easier to swallow, maybe?

When it comes to swallowing things, Chris sure doesn't mind a bit of a challenge. :tomgirl::pickle:

But if you go to sleep, gifts will be there in the morning.

Most of the field of religious apologetics is based on providing supposed proof. For example, young earth creationists even have a "natural history" museum that show humans riding on dinosaurs.
