Chris is a Xer or Millennial but with a boomer mindset, i.e. More is better but combine that with Autisim about the things he cares about changing, Think about it Chris shops like a Boomer who had instilled into them newer = bettter and the more you get the better your doing, and when things change he goes off them like a Xer who finds out a band has changed a musician, but will still consume them to be complete.

To give you a example, my parents are roughly the same age as Chris's and I am 36 they will often look around the charrity shops and buy things on sale just because they are on sale, but will turn there nose up at Pre-Owned etc, and they also wont buy just anything but things like Books they want, or other things they need not just anything like Barb does, they give as much as they buy back to various places, but there is a strong Save this incase it's useful

In what sense, my fold are 70 and 72 this was mostly normal for my parents age group, Dad was bourn in 1950 and mum in 52 but there was a multi generational mindset about certain things Bob and Barb had that is common with my folks, just for a example my Nan had chickens and Racing Pidgeons and we used to save small scraps for them, untill the mid 90's, that I would now toss out but I also dont have that kind of animal but if my neighbours did I'd save for them.

Chris was showing just how much of a creep he can be, as well as how he puts his own feelings above others. When he got her targeted by trolls when he posted a porn drawing involving her, he claimed that he would have become some sort of abusive maniac had he not drawn SheCameForCWC, and tried to explain the act of fingering her, missing the whole point of why that bothered her so much. It was humiliating as shit, and it brought unwanted attention from trolls onto her as a result. Not to mention how he would try and blame his own problems on her later down the long.

All of this overshadows how Megan did act a bit like a nagging house wife towards the beginning and middle of their interactions, asking him to buy things for her. And this probably did give Chris a bit of confirmation in his mind that they were strictly in some sort of relationship. The emails between Chris and her, outside of ones where Megan is telling him to stop being a creep, tend to be ignored, though. There was a reason why Chris was simping for Megan for that long. There was a sort of mutual trust between them,

People tend to forget that at a time, they both had a pretty close relationship, and even when Chris was being a creep, Megan was actually surprisingly forgiving of this for quite a bit of time, and still hung out with him. I don't think it was until Chris was threatening people and cheating just to win a contest for her that she was becoming uncomfortable with being with him.

I don’t see her as an innocent victim.

But she is not exactly a villain either.
Just a pretty average young woman who was a bit naive and had some learning to do.

Also she had a point with the pony garbage.
Call me sexist, but I think it is an acceptable vice for people to continue an interest in childish things they liked as children.
So women who liked those pink ponies as kids, fair enough watching a new version of the cartoon as an adult just don’t expect applause for it.
Same with boys and transformers or whatever.
And sure as a parent, taking an interest in what your children like, acceptable.

However it is embarrassing when they take it too far, or when they are an childless adult taking a new interest in a toy primarily targeted at children of the opposite sex.
Megan saw that Chris was doing both of these things, so the criticism was valid.

Personally I have always felt that bronies should be rounded up and imprisoned in reeducation camps for the terminally pathetic, and never allowed near children if ever released, so perhaps I am a bit to prejudiced to be objective about this.
