When Chris does an impulse buy for vidya, does he usually buy a game with no plans to play it, or does he usually buy something with plans to use it?

EDIT: I'm guessing it's the former, since he once admitted, "Yet with my impuslive [sic] shoppiness [sic] (mostly controable [sic]), I end up spending my side-money after I get it."

Also, >mostly controable

Surely, he imagines he'll play it in the near future. He has all the time in the world.

Am I the ONLY one who REALLY wants to know how those only two plane rides in Chris' life have gone ?

I mean , Think about it.
Especially with post-9/11 air regulations. I can imagine Chris would be the kind of traveller who turns out to be a pain in the ass in the security line-up , forgetting to remove parts of his clothing (like his horrible belt) or shoes , then fucking around in the full-body scanners and stuff.

And then having to deal with the 6 hours flight to the west coast without causing some kind of incomfort for other passengers by talking to random girls or talking to his seat neighbour about pokemon/sonic or crap like this.

February 5 is his next court date, but it's not entirely clear yet what the sequence of events will be.

His first appearance was that video hearing, at which there was a continuance for an arraignment.

Arraignment is often a cattle call situation, with a room full of people all being arraigned at once, some shackled and straight from jail. This may be the first time Chris meets court-appointed counsel.

An arraignment is simply the reading of charges to the defendant and represents actually formally charging him. Then the defendant enters a guilty or not guilty plea.

Other formalities may occur, such as waiving a preliminary hearing, which is basically a hearing to determine whether the DA's office has probable cause to bring charges. Since there is usually no point in bothering to have one, the vast majority of these are waived.

Then the rest of the calendar is set. In more complicated cases, this might involve conferring to agree on discovery schedules, motions in limine (arguing about what evidence is allowed), motion hearings of other kinds, etc.

In this case, it probably just goes right to trial, or to a sentencing hearing if he pleads guilty, or the defense and prosecution agree to everything, from plea to sentencing, and there is nothing more but the judge rubber stamping it.

My speculation: Chris shows up, pleads not guilty, trial date is set. We will know whether he's met his lawyer by whether he starts immediately complaining.

LOL I laughed at that last bit. If he is getting trolled by immortal beings than clearly Santa Claus has trolled him every Christmas. Now... Has anyone NOT trolled Chris in some way aside from Anna? Which reminds me... Why does Anna even hang around Chris?
Oh, Anna's trolled him alright. When he was arrested in 2011 and frightened of going to prison, she commented, "At least you're not going to be a virgin any more." As I said in another thread, my theory is that Anna's motivation for attacking the trolls is because it's only okay to troll Chris if she's doing it. I even wonder if her motivation for ass-patting is to encourage Chris to continue doing stupid things. Her life is a mess and Chris gives her someone to look down on.

Sometimes I wonder if Crystal is Chris' last chance to prove that his dreams are prophetic visions from GodBear.

Counter-point: Waterbrain is her cousin, she don't need no Chris for that. Also, Anna's blog post about her first meeting with Chris actually helped spark the interest in Chris in the early days so she's partly to blame for all that happened. It's probably all just troller's remorse.

That's not really trolling. Just a joke. Years ago, she kinda quit interacting with Chris' trolls. After that, she hasn't done anything to Chris that's indisputably trolling.

Anna's more of a dipshit to Chris because her advice to him is damaging, not because she's actually trolling him.

i fell asleep reading the most evil people in history thread and had a dream that chris maced an autistic black child in a wheelchair, painted "SONIC'S ARMS ARE NOT BLUE" on his back and just left the boy laying in a ditch with broken arms. the police came and chris quietly gave himself up. since it was such a heinous crime he couldn't get out on bail and they were considering a life sentence. i've had a few dreams about chris before but this was the most vivid |:( too off topic? i just had to share this somewhere

The criteria for "troll" is pretty broad when it comes to Chris. It spans from Chris himself, to the Man in the Pickle Suit, all the way to Emmanuel God.

In the Nintendo thread it was revealed he bought a whole series of games for teaching basic concepts to toddlers. He can't seriously plan on playing those.
He should.

What will happen if Chris goes to jail and the minimum payments on his credit cards stop?

Naturally debt collectors are going to start visiting Barb. My hunch is she will just ignore them. I don't know about rules and regulations regarding debt collection in the US, but in the UK debt collectors can't enter a property without being invited (or there being a clear open entrance). However, the CAN seize anything outside the property (usually vehicles). What happens when they seize the vehicles and Barb is left alone in the middle of nowhere with no transportation?

Barb has no legal responsibility for the debts of her adult child, unless she stands in some explicit guardianship role over him (or actually co-signed for the loans), any more than she has liability for him blarming out in GameStop. She only has responsibility for what she does (as in the Michael Snyder incident).

The only people who can simply repossess are those who hold secured debts, such as repo men taking back a car that literally actually belongs to them. There would be a name for a "debt collector" who simply showed up and drove off with a car with no legal process: grand theft auto. Nice game but not something you want to do in reality.

Holders of unsecured debt are not entitled to do such a thing without having an executed judgment and it is generally a sheriff or other law enforcement official who would either carry out or supervise such an operation.
