Too much work.
Remember when he was introduced to making money off Let's Plays? He did two or three, quit because playing video games while saying nothing was too hard, and resorted to begging. Or when he had a chance to finally make money off Sonichu comics and medalions? He gave up and started yelling at everyone who wanted their product on time. Even something as simple as shoving junk food down his fat throat on camera is too much work for Chris.
It's amazing how lazy he is. You give him the chance to work at what is essentially his dream job and he will give up the instant it gets too hard.
He barely lasted a day before someone found him when he got kicked out of his house. If Chris had tried going on the run or escapes from jail somehow the cops wouldn't have to lift a finger to find Chris. Random strangers on the internet would have done the job for them.

Also I suspect he may well be forbidden from using the internet as part of the plea deal. Not that I expect Chris to abide by the terms of the plea deal…
Most spergs aren't much of a flight risk. They don't like leaving their comfort zones, including the geographic ones. At most they fail to show up for their court ordered evaluations etc.
Also when was the last time anyone saw Chris run?

It will be framed as an attempt to "protect" him from weens, just like denying him bail was for his own "protection".
Also, if it's part of the plea deal that Chris agrees to, then he's not losing any rights. He would be giving them up.

if so, it would be a fair price to pay for Chris not to get in trouble. The only thing that the internet benefited Chris is by giving him 'fans' to cater to his every whim; on the reverse side, the internet has given Chris a lot of problems, problems that he created for himself. Chris would be the type to fall for another scam if he was ever on his own.
You know, if you were to ask this if Chris had the full access to the crowdfunded 5k from from Null, I think he would have done this.

Chris is a master of the sport of Parkay.
He's in jail, not prison. Almost everyone there is there for some stupid minor petty crime. Most people only spend a few days there, or a few weeks. There's a few people there serving a 6 month sentence or something for mugging someone for their wallet, who just want to get out. Then there's probably one or two hardcore gangsters/murderers held without bond, and they are probably being watched closely, and held separately.
