I wonder how Chris could handle modern food deliveries like Door Dash or Uber Eats.

There’s no boss, most orders have you just leave it at the door (barely any human interaction) and the money really piles up.

Easiest good money I’ve ever made.

People would say crap like “Would you want Chris handling your food?” but there really isn’t any handling of food at all. Places like McDonald’s has Food Courier set. Even Drinks are conveniently sealed in the big bag for you.

I just wish there was some way for Chris to make honest money.

I've been think about this. On one hand, it would be good for Chris as it doesn't take effort, and he may learn how to curb his social behavior (who am I kidding?). But then again, how Chris usually works, he'll be late with orders and get such a low rating, like deliveries to his house, Uber Eats, Doordash, etc would blacklist him from any employment. Looking the way he does, I wouldn't trust Chris to hand me the food, and I'm sure weens would get him fired for it. Unusually when my order comes in, I'll see the driver and their passenger with them. Can you imagine getting your order from Chris and Barb?

He doesn't; it's all about him. The only way he'll acknowledge someone is if they satisfy him first. I don't know of any other autistic like that, but these other autistics weren't raised like Chris was.

I agree, it seems like he has a very poor theory of mind, an early example of that is him calling out Snyder on YouTube, expecting without question he’ll somehow know about his YouTube channel and regularly view all of his videos as soon as they come out.

Special thanks to his parents for that. If raised with normal parents, I doubt Chris would have that narc trait, but thanks to Borb, especially Barb, Chris currently views himself as literal Jesus.

A little more of an elemental question but what would it honestly have taken for Chris to actually have been ‘happy’ in a more traditional sense, not just experiencing basic superficial pleasures from food, vidya and the pleasures of self-pleasure *borf* but having actual joy from achieving something good in his life. Despite the incredible depths his lard and stupidity, his motivations have always really been extremely simple even during the trolling era, all he ever really wanted was either a girlfriend and make money from his stupid comics.

If Chris really put his mind to it, improved his behaviour and tried acting as normal as he could be, what would have been his best outcome in each of these goals?

Absolutely with some flavors of autism, which almost definitely includes Chris. However it can be compensated for with effort and practice, and Chris has always been "high functioning" enough that he could have learned. He just never bothered.

Autism is the least of Chris' problems. For most autistics it's a curse to be managed. For Chris it's an excuse to be exploited.

As much as Bob tried to teach Chris, he could've set goals for Chris to achieve and work towards happiness. I think somewhere along the way, Chris stopped interacting with his dad and wanting to work with him.

It's not so much a matter that he thinks he's the only person in the universe, it's just that he doesn't understand that others experience the universe in a different way than him. He definitely acknowledges that other people are thinking beings, but if they disagree with him, or have a different point of view, they are wrong or misinformed.

For instance, as someone else mentioned, he assumed Snyder would see his youtube videos (which admittedly he eventually did, but only after other people showed him). He assumes Sega executives will see his videos. He believes that Miyamoto would contact him out of the blue.

To him Virginia is the center of the universe. He talks about random things about his little corner of Virginia with the assumption that everyone else will know what he's talking about.

He does acknowledge some differences. For instance he understands that children won't know everything that he does, but it also seems that he believes that as they learn they will eventually come to inhabit the world that he lives in.

This is *extremely* common in autistic people, but it's not terribly uncommon in people in general. If you immediately call someone you disagree with a Nazi, you're probably at least partially afflicted with this problem. Chris does the same thing -- ascribing villain/toxic status to those who disagree with him, as it's the easiest explanation for someone with the same/similar information coming to a different conclusion.

I don’t think it’s concerning yet. It depends on how he behaves once he’s not locked up. It is possible for people to go so deep into their daydreams that they can’t get back out, but we’re not qualified to say Chris is there.

On the contrary, Chris believes the actual world is nothing but Chris Chans derping around, and he is the smartest and bestest Chris Chan of them all. Anyone who doesn't think what he thinks, know what he knows, and believes what he believes must be wrong, stupid, or evil.

When it comes to miracles he seems to think performing them in daydreams as the goddess is proof enough.

I think maybe he just glommed on to Jesus since he didn’t have much entertainment aside from reading the bible at first in jail and while he’s a self proclaimed reincarnation of Jesus it’s way down the list of importance for him below things like being a Sonichu or a video game goddess.
