Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

Another factor, at least in my area, is the infrequency of those stores. Blockbusters were a dime a dozen for awhile. I see a place selling cards and whatnot once or twice per city/town.

So, I was browsing YouTube for Sonichu stuff when I suddenly encountered this:

Has anyone else seen it?

Other than clothes (I still think barb buys Chris his non tomgirl clothes at goodwill, like she chooses his clothes) has there been any documentation of Chris buying anything when he goes to the thrift store with Barb?

(I love that 2 dudes came to that panel reading in striped clown shirts)

Dear GodJesus, I hope our first annual CWCkiCon doesn't turn out this bad.

Yeah... I remember when that happened. That panel was a big joke for awhile.

One thing I'm mildly curious about is the nature of the "Would you fuck me 789-chan?" video - obviously it wasn't Chris idea, so what inspired you guys to instruct him to make that statement? The connection with The Silence of the Lambs is obvious, but why 789-chan? And how did you get Chris to agree to it?

We wanted to take a stab at 789chan people at the time. And just like anything else we've done with Chris, it's not that hard to get him to do them. We just tell Chris what to do and he does it.

Thank you for your reply!
I guess some part of me thought he'd see the connection you wanted to make between the psychotic, mis-diagnosed transsexual from the movie and, well, :tomgirl: , so I assumed he'd be particularly reluctant to go through with that video shoot, but maybe I'm just way of on one base or another.

Heh, you'd think so, but you'd be wrong...

But yeah, if Chris questions something you want him to do, just make up some bullshit about how it's from your favorite movie or something. It was pretty easy to bullshit Chris into doing something back then.

Probably a bit harder nowadays, but not completely impossible. The hard part is getting in contact with Chris in the first place.

That's actually pretty cool to hear!

And thanks for taking your time to answer some questions, I've been a fan of you guys for years. :tomgirl:

According to a June 02 sighting, he recently bought a defective $4.25 fan and blue-green jacket (for eight clams) with Barbie. (Yes at Goodwill)

I wonder if Chris would hate things like kimchi and sauerkraut as much as he hates the more phallic-shaped pickles. :pickle:

Probably. Kimchi and sauerkraut have pretty strong flavors (and sauerkraut has a pretty strong smell) and if that's the reason he doesn't like :pickle: then I doubt he'd like those foods as well.

Not sure whether or not this has been pointed out before, but has anyone ever realized Barb's initials spell out "BAW"?

I remember on Yuku and Cwcki.forumer, there were mentions of him buying vidya (if Charlottesville is anything like Eugene, good vidya gets donated fairly often), and it's documented somewhere on the CWCki that he bought a full season of some late 90s/early 00s "Beverly Hills 90210"-like show (I forget the name of the show), that had "All Discs Present" and "Was Very Good" or something to that effect.

It was a clear hot day, a clear red sun,
Christian C was at the mall lookin' for The One:
A girl that don't smoke, eighteen to twenty-one,
Local, white and thin, chillin' all alone

Just shit the clean side of my DCB
On a mission tryn'a find Mr Christian C
A Boyfriend-Free Girl, but not this week
Dirty JERKS took another, left none for me

So I up and left, but there's Mimms and Lucas
Dem haters shot some pics, so I called them Jewses
Lucas looked surprised and said "What's up?"
I ran and called my mother; headed back to Ruck

^ lurve it. Sang along to it.

Missed that June 2nd sighting story. Damn. I guess fumbass* didn't realize most thrift stores have a test plug.

*= this typo amuses me so I will keep it.

This is assuming he's seen Silence of the Lambs or even knows anything about it. Which, considering what Chris knows about in terms of pop culture, I would doubt.

Nah. I think it's just the phallic nature of it that he doesn't like.

Also, I think he ate kimchi when he used to go to his Korean church lunches.

maybe he got :briefs: from the kimchi and thus began his distrust of the koreans

i came across this article and got to thinking about the factors other than trolls and borb and autism (you know, the usual stuff) that may have effected chris to turn out the way he has

i wasn't sure if this could be it's own thread, but if it seems as such, maybe it can be moved.

He bought the show Laguna Beach. The graduation episode made him cry. Oh, high school...
