So did either Bob or Barb want grandchildren, or were they mature enough to sacrifice those notions for the good of the family as a whole? Or, predictably, did they not care one way or the other?

They both had other children. We know of Savannah from Bob's side. Not sure if Cole has any kids but he did recently get married so it's a possibility, plus there may be other relatives on either side we don't know about. Neither of them bet the house on Chris and with good reason.

"Or worse...a hermaphrodite"

I look androgynous. Half the time when people I don't know use a pronoun on me, or some gendered term, they get it wrong. Or right. Or they awkwardly avoid using gendered terms and pronouns on me. I only tell them my TRUE ORIGINAL GENDER if necessary (I don't want them to feel bad or anything, and besides, being a private person I like it when they get my details wrong)

I wonder how Chris would react to me. My voice and appearance are both androgynous, and I'd probably tell him to use whatever pronouns and terms come to mind on me, just to keep the waters murky. I'd really like to know how he might react to that.

Would he think I'm a JERK, and after that would I be a FRIENDLY JERK or a FIENDLY JERK?
Would he think I'm a GAL-PAL to make into a SWEETHEART, and harass me nonstop?

Or would he feel HOMOGAY no matter what kind of interactions he might be having with me?

I often wonder if there is information still being held back for whatever reason that we will someday be blessed with.

i wanted to start a thread based on this idea. like how little did they think of him. sure he attended college, but how much faith did borb have in him? and not just big future plans like that, but even the little things, like (and i know it seems nit picking or a-loggy) did they let him use the stove or what was his curfew? i only wonder about these little details because it shows how much faith they had in him in raising him into the manchild he is today.

...I've thought about the stove thing before too.

I don't understand the "Chris didn't know what half of 360 is!" Reference? Why didn't he just use a calculator?

Because, like his half-sister Carol, he's a math geinus.

Do we know for sure what kind of car Chis is driving now? I know he doesn't drive the Ford Escort anymore and I've heard he's driving a Mitsubishi, but what kind?

He's driving some junker cadillac now.

Oh he is? The CWCki article on Son-Chu said he was driving a Mitsubishi now. I guess that seems a little far fetched since if I recall correctly neither Bob or Barb owned a Mitsubishi, and Chris saving enough money for a car, now matter how much of a beater it was, seems really unlikely.

CWCki article on Son-Chu said:
According to a Facebook status from February 2012, Chris no longer owns, or at least no longer drives Son-Chu. Why Chris bought another car and Son-Chu's fate are currently unclear; However, said Facebook status suggests that he may have bought another car to avoid detection by jerkops. Chris likely got rid of Son-Chu sometime before fall 2011, as according to a leaked email, Chris was driving Barb's Ford Aerostar during the infamous GaMe PLaCe incident in October of that year. Chris currently drives a Mitsubishi; no other information about Chris' new transformer ride is available at this time.

The "mitsu" (as Chris called it) was a junker Borb had in their yard forever and was one of the few working cars they had before Bob died.

Why do they need so many damned cars?

The Chandlers seem to be those people who don't take care of their cars at all, so when one breaks they just buy another.

Yup. Just buy another shit beater for $1000 and run it into the ground and park it around back when it finally dies. I'm betting the newest/nicest cars they ever bought were the Jag and the Bimmer Z3, which were probably retirement toys for Bob-o.

Does Chris still play with his toys (when he's allowed to that is) I remember reading on the Cwcki he once said he spends like 2-3 hours a day playing.
Legos don't really count

Why doesn't Lego count? It's made as a toy for children, after all. I know adults can build some remarkable things with Lego, but that doesn't include Chris. I think it was last year he uploaded a pic of him basically playing House with Lego at 30 years old. Who knows if he still plays with his toys though; I get the feeling he may have grown out of them, though more through being too depressed to play than actually maturing.

This is what I figured. Although I never really believed the 2-3 hours a day thing anyway. It just sounded too crazy to me. Although it's Chris so anything's possible.

This is probably unanswerable, but I wonder if Snyder met with a lawyer (if you're running a business, you need a lawyer) to discuss what he should do about Chris after the 10/28 incident. Snyder may not have been so easy on Chris out of the kindness of his heart but rather did it as a calculated move to get Chris out of his hair without looking bad. After all, Snyder just wanted Chris out of his life and to make Chris pay for the damage he did. There was no point being vindictive.

There was a thread in "what if" that reminded me that I wanted to ask this question.

He got a protective order against Chris, so it's safe to assume that he's got a lawyer acting as a middleman.
