So Chris has posted a couple of pics of Lego figures, which people speculate he bought them himself, but wanted the lessen the guilt of paying money, presumably to all of a sudden be gifted a PS4 by a troll. I didn't see anyone make the link, but remember the DVD he found in the garden? Seems like he's going for a long con.

So it leaves us with 3 options:

1) Someone IS buying these things
2) Chris is lying, possibly to 'get' a PS4 later
£) There's an underlying troll scheme we mere mortals don't know about.

My friend, who is absolutely ignorant of Chris's existence, and who is having relationship troubles, just spontaneously blurted out "Man, boys should be forced to take some kind of dating education class in high school."

Ironically, she was saying it in the context of "some men need to learn how to approach women without being massive creepers" but it gave me a cold chill regardless.

The DVD was an actual gift, which gave him the idea to fake further gifts for himself. The motive is unclear but it might be to alleviate guilt of haplessly spending money or, even more misguidedly, an attempt to impress his school mates.

I don't know if this deserves it's own thread but I just realized today is the sixth anniversary of Chris finding his ED page. I think it's kinda funny how his discovery about high school almost fell on the same day.

Nah, he's got his own credit cards to do that. Plus he'd just tell Barb himself that trolls did it, if that was what he was aiming to do.

Barb isn't on Facebook. Barb doesn't talk to anyone on Chris' Facebook. What he does online, she will never know about unless it has real-life consequences, so him trying to deceive Barb using Facebook is... Not even Chris would do that.
He lies on Facebook to trick the people who read his Facebook.

It could have just been as basic as trying to encourage his fans and trolls to send him gifts, by lying that it is a thing people do. I mean, Chris' schemes are usually pretty simple, right?

He has that special form of autism where he needs to be acknowledged as special and given a pass whenever he messes up, but also needs to be treated like a fully functional adult when it's convenient for him.

I've been messaging Chris. I'm not a white knight, nor am I a troll. I just wondered what it was like to speak to him on Facebook. I want to know him better by talking to him myself rather than reading about him.
