Yeah, the Dr. Wolf episode is peak Chris-arrogance and ego flaunting.
I especially liked the part where Dr. Wolf explained that Chris was really more LIKE A PEER to the Brony analysts than merely a fan.
Also notable was this passage:
And famous people, including the analysts, do not cope well with being not liked by others either. And—when also considers the adage, ‘treat others how you’d like to be treated’, I feel like if I stop my efforts to show the analysts dat I am normally likable, and cool to talk with, and simply make them stop not liking me, they will feel not liked by me. And they will feel at least a little bit saddened, by that, as well as da torture knowing or thinking I didn’t like any of them, and my not liking dem becomes virally popular, by the haters and the harassers, all over the woooorld, it would put an end to their popularity, egos, and especially their emotions, feelings, and self-consciousness, ‘n I can empathize with that! It would be just like a whole major eend to them, ‘n it would just be so horrific ‘n terrible n’ I would not be able to get over it
So you see, it’s not because he’s selfish that Chris wants to get unblocked. Oh no, he has noble motives! He doesn’t want to hurt their feelings or destroy their careers!
Chris has a dire deficit in his life of people willing to call him on his bullshit, and the region 10 psychiatrist seems to fall into that category.
(Asspatting is also why most interviews with him turn into shit. Like the Internet Dream Lounge I recently read. It had some alright moments, but most of it was just microphone holding to Chris’s usual bullshit.)
