My problem with her is not really her tranny fetish (that is creepy anyway), but her arrogance and the fact she really has potential to be good artist (I quite like her life drawing sketches, yeah there are mistakes, but she is still learning... until she is really like Dobson, like you suggest), but choose to draw in very unpleasant style that is epitome of sjw/tumblr art. Also, she hate adult cartoons and probably is going to work in children animation, but almost all of her sketches have really strong sexual undertones. They are not her dirty little secrets, they are 90% of what she is drawing. Sketches of bimbo Cap or tramp Ironman have nothing in common with characters from movies and are disrecetful for actors portraying characters. Her drawings are mostly disgusting and not pleasant to look at. It's a pity.

When you put it that way, I'd tend to agree. She has attended the illustrious Tumblr School of Monkey-See-Monkey-Do. That academy brought us cherry-red shiny Tumblr Noses and Fat = 'Realistic'.

She is clearly t r y i n g to do more creative things than the standard "bust portrait at 3/4 angle facing left" drivel, and that's admirable. But let's cut hash: She need to work hard with her inability to draw in perspective and her faces (Tiddy Cap aside) are inconsistent. Her linework is.... it's nothing. No weight. No motion. Nothing. She has no idea what she's doing with lines. Also her volumes are inconsistent (ie. props in her characters hands grow/shrink.) Her 'realism' sketches are not impressive. Flesh bulges, inconsistent lighting, no weight of line... The bottom right one (in her four-pic sample) is easily the worst of the lot. She displays very little technical skill.

Of course, all this is forgivable in an 18 y.o. She has imagination and she can learn, as long as she develops an artist's appetite for criticism and revision.

Yeah, generally speaking transpeople want to, you know, transition. As in pass as the gender they feel they truly are. Rory's art makes a mockery of that, because her fetish is precisely for transpeople not to pass and look like grotesque trunk-limbed bimbos. It's a minstrel show.

Just a little tidbit, the line weight style is actually fine for what her degree is. Lineart without variation in thickness (also know as dead line) is what is used in animation.
