Just so you know, the idea isn't original. It was one of the last trolling plans before Bob kicked the bucket and everything was stopped. I remember Harry Partridge (HappyHarry) was involved, and there was shit about Chris's designs being too unreasonable (unsurprisingly).

That was a trolling plan? I thought it was Harry being yet another person willing to help Chris out only to have Chris be ungrateful and toss it back in their face. I think Chris was unhappy with Harry's rendition of Sonichu and said it wasn't "anime" enough. I have no idea how Harry responded to that.

I forget who sent the laptop, but that happened a while ago and nothing came of it. I doubt the new content is in any way connected to the laptop.

Though, to be fair, the original laptop plan was really ween in its own right.

Chris had the foresight to reinstall the OS before using it, fucking up whatever plot they had. Another one for the "small victories" thread.

He made a thank-you video with it, which wasn't all that interesting. All his video and Facebook posts since were made with his 3ds or iPhone.

Hmm. I thought he used his other devices to record his video but used the new laptop to post them to YouTube. He explained it in some extremely convoluted way to Jackie when he was rebooting his desktop computer 200 times a day to try to get it to load without freezing.

I don't know whether to call it "foresight" or "It probably came with Windows 8 so he just installed something else on it because he didn't know how to use it":

Windows 8 wasn't out in 2011, and it certainly wasn't sent with a secondhand laptop.
