There's definitely people that have done that, and redditors would bring them up, ignoring that none of that is suggested in the bible or is outright forbidden while islam literally tells muslims to kill nonbelievers
For sure there are those things, but my reasoning was more there have been so many, many, extremely violent and horrific acts committed in the name of Islam in recent years, both large scale with terrorism and smaller with honor killings etc. Whereas there have been far fewer for other religions in comparison (going by the sheer numbers and such here, of course they happen, but they are either in the extreme of wow never saw that coming or it wasn't as explicitly in the name of Christianity as the Islam ones are for Islam). So in turn, I feel like it's so much more of a cult mentality than Christianity is at this current year era, given how many are willing to literally kill themselves to cause maximum damage etc for their beliefs. There's plenty of old testament examples of those things being encouraged or happening. Deuteronomy explicitly instructs you to kill anyone that encourages you to worship another god, including any of your family members. And since we're in the Reddit thread I'm sure we've heard more about the laws in Leviticus from atheists more than anyone else. I am aware of the new covenant Christians are supposed to have with God through Jesus and the difference between the Gospels and Old Testament, but that doesn't stop people who claim to be Christian from selectively using the Old Testament to justify their own social agendas.
