Why did this happen?' answer, 'Because the plot needs to happen.' i
I'm going to remind you guys, the events in RE9, all of them, are less silly and contrived,
By ALOT, than the rest of the franchises.
Let me just list some contrivances.
1. In Resident Evil 1, no one has a radio at any point during the July Arklay Incident, not to talk to each other, or to try and contact outside forces, despite being, roughly, about 9 miles from the City, none of them could radio in the very least Brad, who could radio or get help from the RPD.
2, In Resident Evil 2, somehow, Leon and Claire make it into the city, despite by this point, the entire US Military blocading off its entrances with a massive force, including tanks, for the last few days, despite it being a "mountain town" meaning there would likely be very few entrances in and out, also Leon hears nothing in the radio, despite the very huge likelihood that every station would be blaring emergency recordings.
3, in Resident Evil 3, its never explained or elaborated on what the FUCK Jill is doing for about 4 days of the outbreak, she neither helps the Police nor tries to escape till the situation is so completely FUBAR that its unreal, this a minor one but an oddity.
4. in RE.CV, its never even mentioned how Chris Redfield, in about 4 hours, reaches an obscure island off the coast of South Africa, considering the plot of the entire game takes place over about a day and a half, nor is it explained how a Cargo plane makes it to Antartica in a few hours, despite, just ballparking it, would take at least 12+, also the sheer convienance that Wesker attacks the island the day after Claire gets captured.
5, RE5 has the impossible convenience of Wesker's grand plan happening less than 24 hours on Chris's arrival to his trail, mind you, Chris had no idea Wesker was even alive.
there's alot more things but you get it.
