I despise anything even slightly mint flavored, makes it hard finding stuff like toothpaste that doesn't taste like it
Same here, though I have long given up on finding non-minty toothpaste.

I also despise cheese, but for some reason, pizza & cheesecake are big exceptions and I love them..

I've begun writing a fanfiction based on Killzone, just out sheer boredom.
(Takes place between Killzone: Liberation and Killzone 2)

Though the ISA won a strategic victory with the SD platform destroyed, the war for Vekta is still going on strong with the Helghast and ISA fighting a brutal battle for control of the planet. An ISA detachment sent to secure sensitive data from a military R&D facility got ambushed by the Helghast waiting for them there. There was only one survivor.

Corporal Adrian Freeman was the only survivor of the ambush, trapped with rescue not being possible for 24 hours. To further add to his dilemma, He, by sheer luck, killed the commander of the Helghast battalion in the chaos of the ambush, painting a bigger target on him as he made off with Helghan Military intel relating to defense. With luck and numbers not on his side, Adrian must survive until a platoon can extract him and bring him home. Being his first combat experience, the next 24 hours for him would be a test of both his mind, body, and will to survive against hopeless odds.

I have a scar on my shoulder. it was originally some kind of lesion that I scratched at, trying to rid myself of it. It was basically mistaken for acne, but trying to treat it after it (presumably) became infected only resulted in it growing larger.

So I basically had this thing balloon to about the size of one of my fingertips, and eventually decided, after trying to stop the swelling, that it couldn't be removed without dermatological intervention. Turns out it was a clump of blood vessels. Had to be lasered off. Left a pretty metal looking scar, though.

That was quite a gross experience. Unfortunately, I didn't get to keep the preserved lesion itself, it was sent off to the lab to test for cancers... never to be seen again.

I actually have a lot of scars on my body. I'm notoriously klutzy and fucked in the head, so I sometimes wonder if the subconscious masochist in me gets into mishaps just to further prove my incapability.

I have a very odd shoe size that it very hard to find, especially since I'm very particular about what shoes I wear. Finding a pair I am happy with is an adventure in itself

You guys should give Himalaya toothpastes a whirl if it's readily available where you live. It has a very nice, mild taste and does wonders to your gums. Elmex and Lacalut are also very mild tasting pastes that are actually very good for you. If you don't mind paying a bit more, there's also Homeodent, Weleda, Tom's Maine, Nature's Gate or Paradontax (though people say the last one tastes pretty weird at first). Some people also advocate for dental powder, and apparently you can even make homemade toothpaste out of baking soda, olive oil and tea tree oil (I've yet to try either of those though).
