RFK Jr.’s autism registry

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who’s been facing backlash over anti-scientific, offensive and belittling remarks he made about the basic abilities of autistic people, is launching a disease registry to track Americans with autism. The news raises a host of data security concerns, in addition to questions about how Kennedy might use the data to advance his conspiratorial and harmful health agenda.

Advocates for people with autism have decried Kennedy’s recent comments that autism is a “preventable” disease that “destroys families,” and Kennedy has hired a discredited vaccine researcher to investigate debunked claims that autism and vaccines are linked. So the idea that the health secretary wants to compile a database of Americans who have a condition he seems intent on spreading falsehoods about is more than a little suspect.

CBS News reports: “Between 10 and 20 outside groups of researchers will be given grant funding and access to the records to produce Kennedy’s autism studies.”

Regarding the bit about autism in vaccines, I recall seeing a study which debunked it, except a small problem : the study used vaccines which EXPLICITELY stated they had NO mercury. This is also the chemical people suspect to CAUSE autism in regards to vaccines. So its like saying "we did a test where shooting people in the head is harmless. BTW we used blanks LOL".

Also if you look up long term poisonings of mercury, they seem a LOT like autism soooo.....
Holy shit vaccines actually fucking do cause autism

I thought that was some bullshit by weird anti-vax conspiracy moms. I was about to WELL ACKSHUALLY you with some studies to back it up but jesus you were right. Meta study says 3/4 of autism/vaccine studies show a link between vaccines with merury and autism. There was a counter-article to this one which was actually retracted, too. Maybe I'm the retard for not realizing vaccines have mercury in them? Why the fuck would you do that in the first place? This isn't ancient China, we're not drinking mercury potions to die horrifically live forever.

This is the greatest idea of the 21st century. Make them wear some kind of identifying patch, a yellow electric hedgehog perhaps.
Maybe it could be on an armband, something that could be made more visible with a special handwave like Elon's. It would be really neat if it could go on some flags too, for when autistic people move in large, rigidly organized groups.

This is the same level of stupidity as when Soviets promoted an alternative theory of evolution because "Darwinism wasn't Marxist."

Why don't they fund a cure for retardation instead? It could save politicians worldwide from the crushing weight of being an idiot.

>when someone actually tries to debunk me thinking I'm a FUCKING RETARD but actually also has the gumption to research, proving I'm right

Seriously can't overstate how gratifying that is.

But this is also a huge case of people needing to
READ THE GOD DAMN STUDY
instead of just trusting the headline.

infact I used the gun blanks comparison for a very apt reason. These studies can't LIE persay, but can MISLEAD.

So to use both examples, you CANNOT SAY "this is a normal ass vaccine, it doesn't cause autism" if theres a factor. But you CAN say "this is a modified vaccine with no mercury, and it causes no autism". Then you can just NOT MENTION the mercury in the headline. "Vaccines don't cause autism*". *
Please note vaccines had no mercury

And for guns, you CANT say "we shot a man at 10 meters with a 12 guage shotgun loaded with buckshot and hes fine" but you CAN say "We shot a man with at 10 meters with a 12 guage shotgun loaded with BLANKS" and just omit the blank part, and yeah, totally fucking legal to publish, even if OBVIOUSLY retarded. "Shotguns to the stomach proven harmless*". *Please note shotgun shells used were blanks fired at 10 meters

And because most people are retarded or don't read, people believe it.

What aggravates me about ASD “autism spectrum disorder” is so much of it is just linguistic sleight of hand.

You know what we called ASD Level 3 for two hundred years? Retards, idiots and morons. We called ASD Level 1, nerds, weirdos, mathematicians and engineers.

Most of the “explosion” in autism diagnoses in the USA was just a matter of Medicaid funding. There was Medicaid waiver programs for mentally retarded children, then “autism” was approved for the same waiver funding. Parents preferred having their kid labeled autistic instead of retarded.

You can look at the stats. The decreasing number of retarded or intellectual disabled kids corresponds well with the increase in kids with autism.

It’s just wordplay, but the Dx results in being able to access funding, bill insurance and get Medicaid to spend billions. They do a lot more program funding and therapy for autistic kids than your old fashion retarded kid too. It also can access money to coddle ASD Level 1 kids who in the past just integrated as your stereotypical nerdy or weird kid.

Could corpos, banks or heck, any nefarious entities, deny any service for any spaz on the list without getting any repercutions? We might never know...
They current can without it so I don't see it being a big issue.

It is cheaper to produce multi-dose vials with a bunch of preservatives to mitigate contamination than pre-filled syringes with no preservatives. Nowadays thiomersal seems to have been eliminated from most childhood vaccines.
