RFK Jr.’s autism registry​

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who’s been facing backlash over anti-scientific, offensive and belittling remarks he made about the basic abilities of autistic people, is launching a disease registry to track Americans with autism. The news raises a host of data security concerns, in addition to questions about how Kennedy might use the data to advance his conspiratorial and harmful health agenda.


Advocates for people with autism have decried Kennedy’s recent comments that autism is a “preventable” disease that “destroys families,” and Kennedy has hired a discredited vaccine researcher to investigate debunked claims that autism and vaccines are linked. So the idea that the health secretary wants to compile a database of Americans who have a condition he seems intent on spreading falsehoods about is more than a little suspect.

CBS News reports: “Between 10 and 20 outside groups of researchers will be given grant funding and access to the records to produce Kennedy’s autism studies.”

This is actually genius. All the real autists are going to try to act normal to avoid the list and all the tumblrinas are going to try to get on the list. It will lead to autists behaving better and attention-seekers outing themselves. That's a two-fer in my book

"It's 2026, as I sit in my cubicle I feel the urge to see some sunlight. I make my way to the edge of the office and look out the window of our 5th story office space. This is a look I do know, anger. His posture stiffens, "good talk" he says and abruptly walks away. "Wait!" I call after him but it's too late. As he walks down the aisle, I see him looking over his shoulder. He's already on the phone. I'm done for. I unlock my top drawer for what I know will be the last time, I hear the distinct ring of the elevator door open and the synchronized rhythm of jack boots marching directly toward my cubicle. I take my Mario figure in my hand and squeeze it one last time. This is the end."

It’s any adjuvant injected into babies and the adjuvants synergize more or less with the antigens to cause the issues, so aluminum (a known neurotoxin) can do this too. The mechanism is that myeloid cells engulf the toxic metals and traffic to the CNS where they dump their contents and you get an inflammation cascade in susceptible individuals. Sometimes this is in tandem with genetic defects in immune genes or rarely the genetic defects are bad enough where you don’t need the environmental hit. You can search the literature and find animal studies though where injections at equivalent mg/kg doses cause granulomas, inflammation, stereotypies, repetitive behavior and social withdrawal (e.g. autism-like symptoms).

RFK is right but he doesn’t have the scientific background to communicate why, he just has been around enough families that have seen the changes their kids have been through and believes them over the pharma gaslighting.

I thought that was some bullshit by weird anti-vax conspiracy moms. I was about to WELL ACKSHUALLY you with some studies to back it up but jesus you were right. Meta study says 3/4 of autism/vaccine studies show a link between vaccines with merury and autism. There was a counter-article to this one which was actually retracted, too. Maybe I'm the retard for not realizing vaccines have mercury in them? Why the fuck would you do that in the first place? It could be vaccines. It could also be paint, electrical capacitors, Roundup, all modern plastics, canned food, all exhaust fumes, all
fumes from burning anything, all your upholstered furniture and mattresses, food packaging, non-stick cook wear and water proof clothing.

Considering the potential causes are in the air and the ground at all times while also being in most of the shit we eat and wear and sit and sleep on….my nigga, I think vaccines are probably not the cause for autism. I think it’s everything else that’s the cause for autism.

Yeah but saying Roundup, lead paint, and car exhaust can cause autism isn't treated like a crazy anti-science conspiracy the same way "mercury in vaccines" is. We know mercury is bad for our health and basically never goes away once it's in us, that's why aquiring seafood with lower mercury levels was such a big deal a few
decades ago. We know it can cause learning disabilities and lots of other problems. I honestly didn't know mercury was even in some vaccines - I thought all those people got up in arms over random harmless preservatives that are used in everything else, not a toxic heavy metal.
