Okay, out of all these examples, which ones involved actual incest and which ones were roundabout or anything that wasn’t literally fucking a relative?
In the dragon episode rick, summer and morty have a "soul orgy" which appears to be a telepathic orgy considering how pleasured they were sounding throughout and how rick told the kids to not mention it to their parents.

In the sperm episode summer and morty end up having a child toogether, its in vitro tho, so you can not count if you're really anal about it.

In the facehugger episode a (possesed) rick and morty kiss and profess their undying love for one another.

In the beth episode, beth has sex with her clone/identical twin.

And of course all the other merely "suggestive" examples that have already been brought up.

I’d really only count the posted one and the clone one, and even then it’s not them in control and a clone, but they are all close enough that I can see people suspecting a pattern. But that’s just my personal opinion.

And I don’t think in any scenario it’s treated as a good thing, so even if one writer is inserting their fetish, all the other writers are calling them out on it.

Considering the fact that the pilot literally has the character that would become Morty repeatedly licking the character that would become Rick's balls (even though they aren't explicitly related in that), I'm guessing Roiland has something to do with all the incest... Although Harmon also seems to be the type.

Edit: (The Pilot if you haven't seen it)

I liked the Bethcest episode. It was cringy but funny. It’s proof that Beth really is a narc just like her father because she literally falls in love with herself (although we’ve had proof of that before, such as in The ABC’s of Beth). And of course Jerry was into it. Twin fantasies are a thing, so that wasn’t surprising. Also, Space Beth basically saying “lol I fucked your wife” at the dinner table followed by Jerry turning into a bug and Rick casually mentioning he forgot he installed that was hilarious to me.

I wish they would have aired Night Family closer to Halloween because that genuinely was spooky. Night Summer was terrifying. The voice acting was great. I also liked the fact that the downfall of the Night Family was that they spent all their money on frivolous bullshit. Nice dose of reality there.

I’m overall enjoying this season so far (with the exception of Die Hard, fuck that episode).

Isn't that The Cuties defense? You can't really justify your (illegal) fetish by winking and nudging how it's wrong.
Cuties was fucked up because it was literally actual children being sexualized and made to do some fucked up shit. Unless you can point to a real life clone of someone making out with and having sex with themselves being exploited, I think that’s a kinda stupid comparison. You would have done better comparing Big Mouth to Cuties.

Besides, one is meant to be a dark comedy while the other was meant to be a “serious dramatic statement on the modern day.”

At least Rick & Morty and Big Mouth dont involve children at all. It's intensely hypocritical that leftoids went from "think about the poor black actors forced to die in horror films" to "no, chud, these children totally understand and can consent to their parents signing contracts to get them to 'ironically' parade about their asses". Even their claims that if it's anti-pedo then pedos wont watch it is silly because all the time they constantly complain that chuds misinterpret movies like Fight Club or shows like Breaking Bad> Cuties can easily be construed as pro-pedo because it's also anti-those prudish muslims. Or saying because it's a black woman she cant possibly be a pedo even tho she filmed her cousins naked. The defense of that movie is the worst thing leftoids on social media have ever done lol it still chaps my ass because most people disagreed yet leftoids love to be contrarian and defend big businesses and mainstream film

Overall I feel like Fritz the Cat was a good example of how to make an animated film that doesnt fetishize weird shit. Because Bashki made sure to fire anyone who came on just to do a furry film. Dan Harmon and Roiland wont do that because theyre basically responsible for it, if those old allegations about Justin and Alex Hirsch are true

It's funny you mentioned that, because I'm not sure if this was posted in the thread yet but Roiland has said (and promptly deleted) this tweet:

As well, someone from tumblr claimed to have known him before R&M blew up and was around 17 at the time when he wanted to sex her:

Of course with any #metoo callouts on popular figures, you should always take it with a grain of salt but the fact that he wanted to push the Rick x Morty ship dynamic (which may or may not have resulted in the face hugger episode) shows that he might not just have a thing for incest...

It's been a shitty season. Night Family was funny but the rest of the season has left me cold. The shine is off the series and they're too interested in being wacky to write a good plot.

Can you elaborate on this? I don't understand what you mean, he hired people then fired them after it was made or?
when working on the movie (and most of his movies) Ralph went thru a ton of animators. If someone turned out to be a furry who was working on Fritz the Cat, he'd fire them because the purpose of the story wasnt to draw cat tits to get people off it was to tell a story about yknow civil rights and stuff

The man was truly ahead of his time, he was already aware of the furry menance back in the 70s, that alone makes me want to check out the movie.

The film is a satire focusing on American college life of the era, race relations, and the free love movement, and serves as a criticism of the countercultural political revolution and dishonest political activists.

The film had a troubled production history, as Crumb, who is a leftist, had disagreements with the filmmakers over the film's political content, which he saw as being critical of the political left.

wtf, how have I never heard of this movie before

its like one of the most influential animated movies ever lol
You can experience the influence of things without having directly heard of them. I read the summary and it appears to be one of if not the first major "r rated" animated film so it makes sense that it would be influential, but I don't see a lot of discussion about it online.

This episode would have been pretty funny if it was the only incest episode of rick and morty, the fact that its the 5th or so takes away from the comedy and just makes you think who is it on the writer's team that has the fetish.

Its more than three. Sperm episode (This one's a double as the incest baby appears multiple times), Dragon Episode, Beth Episode and this Episode.

Also the morty in the citadel wishing incest porn would become more mainstream and the "intergenerational sandwich" of morty, rick and summer in the teacher's dream in lawnmower dog.
It’s getting a little too weird and frequent. The dream one was a big shocking but it was the first one. By the time they did the Beth thing it has been done far too much.
