Bob is a simpleton whose intellectual depth is equivalent to that of a bird bath. I could go on for all the live long day about Bob's cognitive deficiencies, but his biggest two are his complete lack of empathy and inability to recognize his own mistakes. If he had a single ounce of empathy, he would recognize that these "wasteland ghouls" are human beings with their own goals and desires. If he actually made an effort to understand them, he would learn how they think and thus be able to "cure" them through outreach by treating them with basic human decency. Something Bob clearly lacks because of his unchecked egotism that left him with a toddler-like mentality.
As for learning from his mistakes, Bob has clearly doubled down on the rhetoric that cost the left the 2016 election. I know it is an extremely difficult concept for him to grasp, but your side needs to take some goddamn responsibility for your actions, Bob. It's not the Midwest's fault that the left lost so badly. It was the left's hubris, corruption, and sense of entitlement that cost them everything. It was your sneering contempt of the masses that allowed Trump to ride his way to the White House. The left's ongoing meltdown is only going to drive the more sensible people the other side as you stupid fuckers reveal your true colours.
Maybe people would have taken more seriously if you had accepted defeat with grace and humility. You could have licked your wounds, reflected on your mistakes, and come up with a better strategy to win both houses in this year's midterms and maybe take the presidency come 2020. But no, you want to recycle the same failed strategies believing that you will get different results. That is the definition of madness! Human nature is not simple arithmetic, it is a complex matrix of unpredictably shifting variables. You are too busy watching shitty films and playing Nintendo to offer any insight into world events.
