Bob doesn't collaborate or banter because he's a literal autist and doesn't know how. Whenever he tries, it comes across as some mixture of weird, cringy, snotty, and condescending.

One of the most important things I notice about Bob is just how unlikable he is. Even when he says something I might agree with or something completely banal and harmless he just can't help but come across as an unlikable jerk. He can't just say "I like something" he has to dunk or shit on someone else. Someone has to lose every time when it comes to, well, everything. When he talks about his Superior Future its not in a way that everyone will benefit from being ruled by authoritarian technocrats in space, its in a way that emphasizes how certain segments of the population will be left destitute and powerless in the future and how thats a good thing. When he was praising Mulan he couldn't just say he liked the movie and thought it was good, he had to attack the critics as stuffy snobs who don't know how to have fun like him. Someone needs to be the loser in life and Bob always thinks of himself the winner due to how smart he thinks he is. The guy just cannot help but be a total asshole thanks to his ego and anger problems. Hes still the same wannabe bully he was back in High School.

Sidenote: I think this is exclusive to Twitter. Correct me if I am wrong, but I have not seen such addictive and toxicity combination in any of the older (read: Facebook, Youtube) or newer (Instagram, TikTok) social networks.

Its probably because of how easy it is to get a dopamine rush from twitter compared to other social media platforms. You don't need to spend any effort to make something informative or entertaining like those other sites you mentioned, all you need is 160 characters to get all the likes and retweets you want. For less than one minutes worth of effort you can get all the validation you need for your sad pathetic life. Bob is the perfect fit for Twitter due to his laziness and addictive personality.

I wonder if this sperg ever looks at this tweet he made, sees Bob's nonstop "ALL MAYO RURAL GHOULS MUST DIE" posts, and just shrugs it off, lol.

I could never really browse the Tumblr sphere, so that may as well be. But I heard it was bad.
But it's not just an age thing. Instagram and TikTok have younger audience, and while they all have sicknesses, it's nothing as horribly toxic as Twitter.
