@Positron (and in no fucking way is this post in any sort of chronological order) I'm guessing the "burn" after listening to the clip, was directed at Faye Dunaway, because Fonda told the director she didn't think she could play this, and hire Faye Dunaway instead. I think this is seen as a jab at Dunaway's "typecasting" through her career as cold and calculating characters (like say as Joan Crawford in
Mommy Dearest), so technically she'd fit in with the 'hardness' Fonda saw in IRL hookers. Not sure how this is a "burn", though. Jane Fonda knows what she's talking about. The crayon-eater Bob's replying to is just as vapid and smoothbrained as Bob.
One of the things Bob and the other crybabies ironically crying about the removal/cancellation of some things, was something called "
Final Space". I'd never even heard of it. I do know a place I could find and watch it, though, and I saw part of the first episode. I was not impressed. It was like if they made a cartoon about Zap Brannigan about 20 years younger from
Futurama, but
Star Trek Lower Decks plus
Rick and Morty plus
Futurama. IMO it was really, REALLY fucking dumb, even for a "parody" if that's what it was. The main character is a narcissistic asshole who KO'ed a pilot in a restroom and stole his uniform to impress a girl, failed, and tried to 'fake it til he makes it' but ended up blowing up a bunch of spacecraft in a burst of friendly fire because he had no idea what he was doing, so now he's incarcerated on a vessel all while insisting he's a 'captain'. The premise is ridiculous and I therefore don't give a shit that it was "cancelled" for tax writeoffs. If I wanted to watch narcissistic assholes being narcissistic assholes, I'd watch G1
Transformers ffs - at least it's better written.
Chess ragequit was based on the fact that the guy moved his pawn 2 spaces up right after the other guy had done the same, in such a way as the opponent could immediately take that pawn
en passant (a special move with a pawn that can only be done on the turn immediately after the opponent's pawn makes a 2-square advance). It was a thoughtless rookie smoothbrained mistake and Magnus Carlsen knew it.
I guess Bobby the Smoothbrained Lard of Lynn never learned how to Chess, let alone 3-D or 4-D chess
Bob fait une pisse pauvre faux français.
Also, Bob doesn't understand proper wagyu "Kobe" beef. The reason it is the way it is, is because the cows are pampered, like holy shit. These fucking cows get
massages. The perfect marbling that results from how the cows are raised makes it exceptionally tender and flavorful. Bob wants to do it up in CORNDOG BATTER? The amount of fat in a cut of wagyu "kobe" beef would make that a ridiculously stupid idea that is IN NO WAY on the level of "Gold Leaf Chicken". Oh well, I guess I can expect such cow's backside-palate buffoonery from a doofus who thinks "Southern Marinade Hack Mt. Don't Chicken" is high level cooking.
It's pretty mind-boggling that Bob doesn't understand narcissistic psychopaths in power re: the whole "whinnie the pooh Xi" thing. Psychopaths cannot tolerate being mocked. Xi isn't pretending SHIT, Bob. He's actually
that fucked in the head. Figures Bob can't comprehend dictators and their paranoid, hamfisted delusions. Bob would probably lick Xi's boots and like it if Xi got rid of the MAGAnaiseghoulen Barrow Wight Trash for him.
I'd love to find out who was letting Bob into "Meetings" where "Should we or should we not release this shit in Black & White" was a topic.
Bob sperging over a checkerbox pattern on the fucking DVD box of the Sanic movie is some pants-shitting, blue curtain nonsense. Is Bob so exceptional that he can't figure out that a checkerbox pattern like that is like a checkered flag at a RACETRACK? BECAUSE
HEDGEHOG GO ZOOM? Even if the motif didn't exist in either movie, I can understand why it would be a stylistic aesthetic choice for a goddamn DVD case.
