How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

Oh, his "Really That Good" on Lord of the Rings is going to be excruciating, isn't it?
I can’t wait to see how he reconciles his love for the series with this quote, which is a summation of the films themes and directly antithetical to his own worldview:

"You know what never gets old? Punching nazis. And having fought the Germans in world war 2, Tolkien knew a thing about punching them so he wrote the greatest work of literature on punching Nazis: Lord of the Rings. Notice how Middle-Earth reaches the superior future when they finally get the backwards, Republican-like figure of Denethor off the throne and anoint Arwen as Queen of Gondor. And see how Saruman has 'the power of the tongue'? Remind you of anyone???? Really, it's amazing how relevant this series remains in this day and age."

We hope you kiwi farmers will come visit Mola & me in the hospital and give us updates on how badly Bob is behaving now.

I swear to God, if he compares Saruman to Trump, even vaguely and subtl-pffft, I'm holding you personally responsible.

Oh my God. He's actually gonna do that though isn't he. So, do you think he's never seen the "disliked allegory in all its forms" quote? Because I'll give him a half a point if he brings up

"I much prefer history, true or feigned, with its varied applicability to the thought and experience of readers. I think that may confuse "applicability" with "allegory"; but the one resides in the freedom of the reader and the other in the purposed domination of the author.".

And yes, I just did some research on this. Which makes me overqualified to be MovieBob. Because he won't remember this. He's gonna talk about the parallels between Hitler and Propaganda and bad leaders. He might even talk about "Fanboys" because it's fucking hilarious for him to throw that term around, and compare them to Gollum. He's gonna fucking do it. And I'm gonna fucking end up in that goddamn hospital alongside you two.

And while I'm fucking A-Logging, because in for a penny in for 430 pounds, I never realized how fucking surface level his comic book knowledge was until that DCEU thread. For a comic book fan there wasn't anything that my goddamn mother wouldn't know. Like I mentioned, I'm not much of a comic guy. I used to buy them from time to time back in the 90's. But I've made more obscure jokes than that. Shit I've made jokes about Captain America fighting a fucking Vampire. And I had to look up that his name is Baron Blood. Do you think MovieBob even knows him? No because he's an incompetent dipshit that became famous somehow. I'm going with Jim Sterling wanted him at the Escapist, just so He didn't have to be the Fat Guy. n

So I've been lurking in this monstrosity of a thread for a few months now and finally decided to sign up. It's baffling how repugnant one human being can be, and how so many people from different walks of life can come together to collectively shake their heads at a genocidal bigot who looks like Bibendum's evil brother with jaundice.

The thing that drove me to finally post was about Bob and deus ex. He wrote it off as "that robot punching game", but if he played it he'd probably get an aneurysm if he was able to follow the story line.

And that's... the reason why I have a lot of respect for Deus Ex's storyline because makes a lot of sense in regards to the current political climate of the now. Blobs idea of a narrative is a cartoony-stereotypical dago that has a genocidal stance towards turtles and trips on shrooms daily.

Bobdom: The sexual practice that's terrifying and hilariously ill-defined at the same time.

You know, back in my days we called it Wallord on Skittle action.

Also in regard of his Lightninground video, wow.
Not only is this shit blander than white rice crisps on a glass of water, the one about the videogamer is so obviously full of resentment towards any videogame made past 2001, other nerds would tell him to move on

Gee, I wonder why people think Bob is a sociopath?
Funny that second tweet sounds like a good description of Chelsea Van Valkenburg but apparently these people are only on the right.
Now I am baffled by this one. (Of course everything Bob says should be followed by "WTF?") He knows Black Panther is not real right? Like I get he brings race into things when most people will just see it as a superhero movie but he is making a bigger deal than there needs to be.

He can accept this quote. Clearly the "great power" is the failure that is Obsolete White America of the Inferior Past and the "small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay" is Americans Who Matter of the Superior Future coming together to crush them. Was that so hard?

Except he's explicitly said that it's the elites who are responsible for saving us in the past:
