When I saw that article titled I thought I was going to be reading about some loser being upset that Rowling was a terf. Turns out its a normal kid and the family are fucking weirdos.
I get having weird holiday traditions, but there's a limit, especially when its forced. Like me and my family like to throw on those old Peanuts cartoons for the holidays. Granted that's like, 30 minutes? Not a goddamn Harry Potter marathon. I get wanting to share what you love with your kids/family, but trust me when I say they'll probably appreciate it more if its not forced and they're older. Me and my dad love watching Twilight Zone. If he had forced me to sit down and watch it as a kid, I probably wouldn't love it as much as I do.
I hope to God that Bob doesn't try doing this type of weird shit with the Chippa's kids.

Maybe I'm a complete retard, but last I checked the Salvation Army was pretty neutral on LGBT issues. They don't particularly support, but its not like they make you prove you're heterosexual before they let you grab some food. Last I checked (which to be fair was ages ago), their website just said that they helped anyone, LGBT people included. The only time I've really seen anything otherwise was a photoshop of a bell ringer with a sign saying something like, "We don't help the gays" which was debunked by notorious right wing hate site, Snopes.
I used to volunteer at one of their pantries ages ago, and I'm pretty sure two of the dudes who were coming in to grab stuff were a couple. No one gave a shit. All I cared about was making sure no one grabbed too many sandwiches before we closed for the day.

I find this a weird reason to hate The Santa Clause as Chris is missing the forest for the trees here. First of all, the only ones who knew the previous Santa die were Scott and Charlie. No one else knew or believed that Santa even existed thus there was no one to mourn him. Second, the overarching narrative of the film was Scott becoming a better person and father to his son considering that he was a selfish, cynical, and bordered on negligent in the beginning. I looked up a synopsis of Santa Claus: The Movie and the two films don't even seem that similar. Chris is entitled to hate the film if he wants, but I fail to understand his rationalization.

With those tweets Bob sold me the idea of having TASM new trilogy with Andrew Garfield as a lead and Emma Stone back as Spider-Gwen. Having even angrier Snider Cut rants form him for years to come is just too good of a proposition. Being from Bawstan What is Bobbo's view on gentrification?, when a bunch of people with high tech and finance degrees move into a urban area and the higher rents drive out the poor POCs does bob ever have any take on that at all? I have seen both and they're not outside they are both origins for a Santa however the origin in Santa Claus the Movie is pretty much just the first act of it rather than the full movie. I do agree with him that it's more ambitious than the Santa Clause especially on a visual level but neither are good movies.
John Lithgow however is great in the movie

Anecdotally, I have experienced both of these in my online friend group. One of these has been neurotic about the coof from the start, putting all his faith in the Holy Vaccines and jumping at his first chance to get jabbed. If you ever try to bring up anything contrary to what the Science™ says, he'll immediately shut down all discussion with the usual thought-terminating cliches ("it's free, why wouldn't you take it," "it's better than getting covid," "it's the only way to get to herd immunity," "horse paste," "Joe Rogan," etc.). He honestly came really close to making a logical leap recently when he said that we'd never get to herd immunity because the virus mutates constantly...but then said that that's why we needed to keep vaccinating everyone. Like, bruh, think about what you're saying: how can you develop effective vaccines if the virus is just going to mutate again before you can get them finished, manufactured, and distributed? But no, back to the usual stupidity.
The other has also regurgitated the fear porn from the start, but he let the mask slip recently when he said that he didn't want the pandemic to end because he never wanted to have to go work in an office again. And I think I saw a post in the coof thread confirming a similar reaction by others; those that are fortunate enough to be in a position to work from home never want to have to go back to living like a pleb, the rest of the population be damned. We should all suffer for their enjoyment.
Bob pretty squarely falls into both categories. He'll bellyache about how the filthy unvaxed are preventing him from doing what he wants to do, but he works from home and never really got out much before the coof anyway. He'll dress it up as a noble sacrifice ("I'm saving lives by staying in my basement!"), but the reality is that he, like all the other virtue signaling tards, is just a lazy scumbag.
Hadn't really considered it until now, but yeah, funny how all of DUH INSURREKTION talk is about hypotheticals and not what actually happened: some boomers were let into the Capitol (not "broke in"), they milled around a bit (not "stampeded with bloodthirst in their eyes"), and then they went home (well, those that didn't get thrown in the gulags, anyway). I guess, as with many things, the truth isn't interesting enough to try and wrangle power from, so it's gotta be gussied up into something far worse than what it was. It was a protest, not treason, which is something Bob can't wrap his smooth brain around.
I don't even want to bother getting into the whole Spiderman shit, but it's fun to see how much Sony can get under Bob's skin just by refusing to let go of a very lucrative license. Never mind that they produced the Raimi Spiderman trilogy he loves so much, they should learn their place and give Spidey back to Marvel so they can exclusively turn him into a cookie-cutter generic MCU hero! With business sense like this, it's anyone's guess why Bob isn't working for a major studio.
I say this as someone who generally didn't like the Amazing Spiderman movies all that much (didn't hate them but the scripts really bogged them down), but I love how No Way Home has reignited interest in the series so much, solely because it makes MCU stans like Bobbo absolutely seethe.
