"Trump won because of Racism! Dumbfuck America rejected Hillary "Jesus" Clinton!" - Bobbo Booey, wrong as usual:

First of all, Obama would have beaten Trump, handily. Secondly, if Bob genuinely believes that more 'hate filled' people came out to vote this time, he's a fucking moron because voter turnout was literally at an all time low.

"Obama couldn't have won!"

You mean the guy who beat Hillary for the 2008 Dem nomination, and beat a rich white man in 2012? Yeah, Hillary had a much better chance than that loser!

EDIT: Am I the only one who doesn't understand his raging hate-boner for Warcraft?

I Bet He thinks Blizzard is responsible for the "degeneration" of gaming along with any other company who isn't Nintendo
Or,who knows, maybe Tracer was His OW waifu and He was cucked hard by Emily

He expects young people to worship Mario and other NES stuff forever just because he happened to grow up while that was the big thing.

There was a time when people associated video games with Pong ,Frogger, and Asteroids etc. too. Then that changed.

I'm 2 years younger than Bob and I remember watching Captain N and the Mario cartoons too. They're cool when you're 6 in fucking 1990, but it's hilarious he still clings to them and thinks they have any kind of merit in his 30's.

I know I shouldn't take MoronBob seriously, but what had Bernie said or done that could have construed as "anti-Semitism"?

Wait, when did he say this?

Jesus, I know Bob is stupid but he can't be that stupid to think Sanders, a Jew, is an anti-Semite.

Maybe something like this?

He's not saying Sanders is anti-Semitic, he's saying that anyone that voted for Trump are so racist, sexist, and anti-Semitic that they would have voted for Trump no matter who ran against him.

Because they're backwater scum of the earth de-evolved creitans holding back the people that clearly know better from advancing the world to a SUPERIOR FUTURE!

Moon wheat to make moon flour to make moonpies! That's the endgame. You just got between fatty and his pies.

He really does believe in his heart that Nintendo invented video games, or at least good ones*. Which reminds me:

"VIDEO GAMES COME FROM JAPAN"

No, Blob, video games you like come from Japan. They didn't even fucking originate the medium. You have the baka 'Murkins to thank for that from Space War in the '60s all the way to 1983. I'm sorry that you refuse to acknowledge the "gaijin garbage" that's been outselling your candy coated cartoon jumpathons for over a decade now, but that is how it is and no wishful thinking on your weebicated heart is going to change that.

*something demonstrably incorrect as developers like Origin Systems, Sierra Online and Infocom had been making substantive titles while the Famicom was still shitting out arcade ports.

I'd think he'd be projecting about how worthless he is considering how often he's crying about the future if it wasn't for the fact that he believes Soap McTavish caused 9/11.

I kinda want Trump to actually bump up and invest in NASA hard (IE a 1% or 1.5% of the budget compared to what it currently has) just to kick him in his hyperglycemic bed-sore riddled ass down more. Because that would make literally everything he says wrong.

I will point out that when he makes that statement of video games coming from Japan, it's not to be taken literally. He means that video games, as we know of them today, are heavily influenced by Japanese developers on the NES in the wake of the '83 crash. He's not incorrect, but you know what they say about broken clocks.

However, that's be extending a courtesy to Bobbo that he never extends to those he's critical of: Correctly applying context to a statement.

I really think Bob makes the mistake of thinking that America and Japan are the entire world. The whole "video game crash" thing? Only in the US. Nintendo never was this big big thing in Europe. It was mostly home computers and games for them.

But of course Bob has never given a shit about games that aren't Nintendo made. So what would he know about the games market outside of his own country? If he even knows that.

Has Bob commented one way or another on the new iOS (mobile) Mario game? I'd imagine shit like that would be completely Haram to a Nintendo purist like him, but it would also mean criticizing not only Nintendo generally but Miyamoto personally since IIRC Miyamoto was apparently more involved in a hands on way in creating the mobile game than he has been in any other game this century.

Went looking, but I found nothing on his twitter and his dumpster fire of a blog makes me want to gouge my eyes out with a spork every time I try to read it.

I'm pretty okay with Bob's taste in games. Hell, someone joked about him having a framed Nintendo Power #1 on his wall a few pages but that's actually a pretty pricey collector's item. Knowing Bob, that's probably something he's had since childhood. So as vidya collector myself, good on him. I'm more concerned it's going to fade being in direct light like that.

Bob's taste in games is far less a point of concern with me than the way he acts about them. People are gonna like what they like, who gives a shit? But that's really where my issue with Bob comes up, he acts in such a way that there is a narrow true path that looks a lot like his childhood and a broad road that leads to damnation. Bob also has incredibly narrow taste and experience with games for someone who opined broadly about them for the better half of a decade.

I remember in one of the Overthinker videos he once commented that people looking for a more advanced, granular Pokemon needed to go ahead and graduate to "everyother JRPG ever made" which shows that he knows nothing about the appeal of Pokemon or JRPGs. The interest in one has never really translated into interest in the other. Pokemon has a heavy focus on muliplayer and dozens of viable different playstyles that arise naturally from having hundreds of potential pokemon to build a team from. It's multiplayer aspects are also very social (which explains why Bob doesn't get it, Bob only ever bothers with single player). Traditional JRPGs are enjoyed more like books, less social, often enjoyed on your own unless it's something like the Tales series that has couch coop. Usually emphasis is placed more on story, sidequests, dungeon exploration, etc.

Even though they have largely the same set of core mechanics they're built for totally different end experiences. "everyother JRPG ever made" has more in common with the Souls games than Pokemon. But if you were say, talking about these things with no meaningful experience with either of them like Bob seems to be doing, it's pretty easy to make that mistake...

He seemed pretty excited about it when it was announced and still plays Pokemon Go, so I think he's okay with it. It is Mario after all.

Has Bob ever mentioned the AVGN in any of his tweets or whatever? I'd imagine he just hates him on principle for being far more successful.

And sort of in shape.

And well liked.

Actually, one of Bob's Broken clock moments was about how he reacted to the AVGN Ghostbusters thing. He thinks at worst, James was guilty of not explaining his position very well and that he has mostly been proven right by history.

"Bob was right" is not something I like saying, so I'mma go take a quick shower.

Wow, that makes Devin Faraci look even more scummy. More pathetic and stupid than Bob is not a good position to be in.
