How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

I remember he worked at a TV station as a film critic, then got fired because his opinion on Passion of the Christ clashed with the station's opinion.

Though given that it's Bob we're talking about, you can take that with a grain of salt.
I assume he was fried for talking about how he would "fix" it by having it being about black transsexual jews crucifying farmers, right wing leaning people and the bullies from high school.

Spider-Man: Homecoming has been received with largely positive reviews and Marisa Tomei’s portrayal of a younger Aunt May has been just one of the many praised aspects of the film. In an interview with the Huffington Post, Tomei discussed a heroic scene involving Aunt May that was cut from the script.

Tomei described the scene and how it would have given audiences better insight into May and Peter’s relationship:

“There was something going on in the neighborhood, and there was a little girl in distress, and I saved her, and Peter saw me save her, so you kind of saw that he got part of his ethics from her.”

Tomei expressed her disappointment over the scene being cut from the script:

“Then I come home, and I don’t even tell him that that’s what happened, and, of course, there’s all this stuff that he’s not telling me. So he’s like, ‘How was your day?’ And I’m like, ‘It was fine,’ but really I was shaking inside because of this whole crisis that had happened in the city. I’m kind of fibbing to him, and he’s fibbing to me, and we’re living in this house together, and it was a very interesting setup. I was quite disappointed that wasn’t in there.”

Director Jon Watts discussed why changes were made to the earlier version of the script:

“An initial pass at a script is more of an exploratory pass, and you start locking in on what the themes are and you start locking in on the best character moments and the set pieces and boiling it down to be the most precise thing possible.”
I can see where they were coming from in cutting the scene. Homecoming skips the origin story since so many people know that Peter gets his morals from Ben/May, it kind of goes without saying.

Because Bob can't leave the basement, he has to take it out on the real estate industry:

I'm imagining a world where Twitter never existed, and dumbasses would have to find new ways to embarass themselves. Also, why is this phrased like a question?:

Given his ego, there's a good chance he conflates the two in his head:

Even then, he made more of an impact than you. For example, he actually sued a randy on Twitter instead of weakly threatening to:

I'm sure in that world, waging war on a fucking cartoon frog would be seen as the sign of profound imbecility, and the person who does it will be sent to a group home.

I wonder how did Bob ever come to believe himself to be smart?Or smarter than most folks? Was it some kind of coping mechanism during his high school days?He was saying to himself 'Yeah they called me names but i'm smart yeah i am i'll show all of them how big i'll get in 20 years'.

He kind of did, just probably not in the way he wanted.

In all seriousness, I think it was when he realized people were listening to him when he started his YouTube career and it slowly fed his ego. That's pretty much why his more recent stuff has him with his head up his own ass. His older stuff had that too tbf, but it didn't get really bad until GamerGate drove him batshit.

God that would be terrible working at a place where you know that not alot of people like you at all and feel your unwelcomed. Then again, I bet that is Bob's entire life as he seems to be the type that would be insufferable to deal with in real life as he is on the internet.

I find it hard to be sympathetic. I mean, seriously, he could try just not being a complete and utter dick. It's not like hating Trump is some vastly unpopular position nobody agrees with or anything. He just takes it to a level even other Trump-haters hate, like that comic about the Klansman who pisses off other Klansmen because even they sometimes want to talk about something other than how much they hate niggers.

Remember when you used to be relevant, Bob?

Because no one else does.

James Woods's name is known pretty universally by the general populous. You'd be lucky if some random person on the street remembers you as "that Boston guy that did that funny Pixels rant".

Given the very very low standards of education, and the fact that popular culture(the Bob is obsessed with) is so low brow Bob probably was one of the "smarter" people in his class. He might have had some honest natural ability for all we know. The sad thing that happened to Bob, and lots of "smart" Fedora types is that they internalize it. He looked around at all the stupid people around him, rightly realized they were idiots, but never looked at the asspats he got for probably just bothering to read the material and wondered if the same system that churned out those people by the truckload had judgement worth listening to.

The only way you get smarter is by realizing how stupid you are and working to change it. Bob is a person who never once in their life has looked in a mirror and asked himself if hes not as smart as he thinks he is. Because hes never had to. You can just tell by the way he writes when hes in "smart" mode that its designed to impress teachers and knowing the average teacher it probably always worked.

He never wondered if his book learning was lacking because his entire life hes been told it is. Hes never wondered if hes not nearly as cultured as he thinks he is because "comic book studies" and the like told him that he is. And most importantly he never wondered if maybe there were other aspects of himself equally worth developing. Athleticism, social skills, all the things he looks down on dumb jocks for.

Even if he didnt push himself farther if he had just learned one simple lesson, humility, he wouldnt be a cow. If he had the clarity to realize "yeah Im a dweeb who makes youtube videos not some great intellectual" he could keep making mediocre reviews and tweets and this thread wouldnt even exist.

Thats what makes Bob special, theres a million idiots with stupid opinions, but Bob is absolutely 100% convinced that his are absolute genius. He will go to his XXXL Casket grave pounding what stubs remain of his beetus ravaged limbs against a keyboard about those fools who rejected his genius. If only they could understand that SMB3 is the apex of human achievement.

Yeah, I see this shit a lot with people I knew from school who were in higher education classes and went on to do nothing with it. Every time I hear about shit like this, I'm reminded of Iron Giant. (starts at 0:33)

Really, school is less about how smart you become and more about how well you follow directions. If the mere act of doing slightly better in school than his peers who nine times out of ten don't want to be there is enough to inflate MovieBob's ego to the point of "Superior Genes", then I gotta say he was doomed from day 1 of the real world.

Remember, Bob never, ever makes typos:

I love how MovieBob tries to discredit James Woods by mentioning that he's "not in movies anymore" when a quick Google search would show that James Woods still involves himself in movies, just not as often as he did twenty or thirty years ago. Apparently, it never occurred to MovieBob that at age 70, James Woods already has a long, fulfilling movie/TV career behind him and has earned his right to take it easy.

But hey! He's a dang, dirty conservative, so fuck him and his career, amirite boys?

IIRC, he was in a season of that show Ray Donovan on Showtime, complete with other actors that get him assmad like Jon Voight and Susan Sarandon, and the former's even a main character and won a Golden Globe because of it. Thank you Showtime for making a show that feels like it's created just to trigger Bob.

Doesn't that show have a blue-collar Boston guy made good?

My knowledge on the show's pretty minimal, but the main character Ray got out of South Boston and lives and works in LA by being a fixer through strength and throwing his weight around to personal success. Bob would get so salty if he ever talked about it.
