How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

A couple pages :late: but whenever Bob talks about how great being/the "Elite" are/is. The image that pops into My head is that of a "civilized" Native in Western dress heartily agreeing with his white masters about the virtues of Colonialism. Meanwhile the only reason the Blob wants Automation is that he views it as the path to Replicators and Holo Decks... Oh and Moon Wheat, never forget the Moon Wheat.

(Apologies for the double post.)

Does Bob not know he has a blog?

Me whenever Bob bitches about a movie for SocJus related reasons:

"The arts" have never been and will never be a significant part of any economy. Even if we are generous and include under "the arts" Hollywood movies, comic books and video games, it will still not be a powerhouse of GDP, because it is dispensable and easily outsourced (even Hollywood is being taken over by CGI as we speak). The entertainment industry will make the <0.01% obscenely rich, but will not feed the great majority of people.

Desire for govt aid but only for "real" citizens w/out cognitive dissonance is how you get *national* socialism.
Y'know, what Bob wants.

Bold statement, Bob. Do you have any coherent, tangible suggestions on what this "new paradigm" should be? Well, we're waiting.

Anyone who supports any form of socialism but doesn't want the One World Government is thus a national socialist which means they're just like "The National Socialist German Workers' Party". Is that how it works or is Bob being exceptional? Political labels are abused so much that I don't think I'll ever grasp what most of them mean.

Bad socialist=Nation socialist

I wouldn't think Bob would have put much more thought into it than that. Especially since Nazi is the easiest label to throw around these days.

Well, I mean his argument is "Socialism+OWG=Superior Future" but "Socialism-OWG=NAZISM". In a way, that means he wants Nazism but on a global scale but I don't think he put that thought in either.

He could use this moment to establish solidarity with other YouTubers that cover film and vidya. He chooses wrasslin' instead.

Aw, he thinks he's a hip indie director with friends, that's adorable.

Again, he thinks he has a superior taste in everything compared to us.

Y'know, all that money you'd spend could maybe go towards finding a real place to live...

For all his whinging about how he's better than everyone else, he sure likes to judge happiness through material possessions.

Does he seriously think his "Moviebob, ally to the blacks" schtick is gonna work here?

He's being exceptionally exceptional. I wonder what's going on to spur this level of exceptionalism.

Single mothers on benefits, the perfect low hanging fruit to get mad about and use in straw-man arguments for both the Daily Mail/Fox News and MovieBob alike.

It shows how much MovieBob cares about women's rights, the biggest hurdle for women like that is high childcare costs which make minimum wage jobs just not worth it. (And the only time I've heard people consider a job one only immigrants do is fruit and vegetable pickers because it's hard physical labour with strict quotas paid with the lowest possible wages farmers can legally get away with)

Bob talks about The Emoji Movie, and somehow comes up with a worse idea than the movie we got.

I like how he says it would be a great starting point for a family friendly movie then comes up with a very dark and depressing idea for such a movie. Not to mention pretty disturbing if the kid develops a "friendship" with an inanimate object.

It might work as some sort of depressing psychological flick a la Her, but as a family movie? Hell no. At least The Emoji Movie has a better claim to that, shitty as it is.

Every exceptional movie pitch idea Bob's had has a piece of himself in it. For example, this is the Bob who thinks Mario is real and that Miyamoto anointed him to fight those dang, dirty dudebro gamers.

Jesus Christ, that movie idea is disturbing.
as @Baldur'sGait says, that is not a movie for the family or something with a genuine good lesson. It is Moviebob showcasing he is a technocrat who puts human life on a lower pedestal then any technology that allows him to make his shitty videos or tweet.
I start to think that Bob is the kind of person who hates Star Trek the NExt Generation, because the show dared to mae the Borg the enemies.

What is with Lolcows and liking/defending The Emoji Movie.

I guess something about wanting to defend something in light of so many people pilling up on it? I don't know. Perhaps something in their brain gets triggered, thinking that no one giving the movie a chance is reminding them too much of how in high school everyone made fun of them.
