Ehhhh...there's pretty good evidence that Obama straight up lied about his stance on gay marriage. Something about supporting it in 2004 or 2005 only to turn around on the campaign trail and claim to be against it.

It still amuses me that getting compared to Pol Pot is what stuck in his craw. He's also barn compared to Hitler and other dictators, but that's the one that pissed him off.

I wonder how Bob became such a lolcow when JonTron and even AllieRX weren't even considered.

The latter being someone I've known and followed since 2007, he did a real neat twist on the "Angry Gaming" scene, but has this weird voice that makes him sound like he is always drunk.

It's all in personality. Whatever his views (and they were blown out of proportion by media sites), Jon at least knows that people follow him because he does funny, well-produced videos. He's got legitimate talent and a fun personality. Beyond that he seems to have a life outside the internet and he's proved he doesn't need to churn out content every 5 minutes to stay relevant.

Bob is caustic 100 percent of the time, completely without nuance or irony (unless it's talking about Nintendo or Marvel and he can't hide his microboner). It's hard to like Bob unless you hold the same viewpoints, and even then you should have sense enough to realize the Basement Baron Harkonnen is someone you can't reason with.

Jon is like the anti Bob. Jon is the college buddy you're happy to see and catch up with whereas Bob is the guy you muted on Facebook before you even graduated.

Let me remind you all, that early in his Overthinker Days, Bob praised the early James Bond movies as being as much about female sexual liberation as male sexual liberation. And now the only reason he wants Disney to buy the James Bond franchise is because he wants Disney to remove the sexism and turn James Bond into a woman wearing a Hillary-style pantsuit.

And then, after the franchise has turned into a protracted Social Justice lecture and everyone has abandoned the franchise in droves, Bob will say it failed because of "sexism". (Don't worry, Bob! Generally it seems the argument is centered around the protagonists of stories need to be some kind of role model for young (usually female or minority is the goal but they'll say "all") children to look up to. If you say "Lol fuck off" then you're being "irresponsible" because children will "internalize" it anyways.
