Well, now we know that he never paid attention to any of the Jurassic Park movies.

If this was anyone but Bob, it would be sarcasm.

Yet being a diabetic living in a drafty basement with no heating is better?

Bob thinks Anita Sarkeesian is hotter than Dana Loesch, doesn’t he?

I went to school with people like Bob - people who weren't very popular but would still kick downwards to try and get some street cred. It's a sickening tactic which is made even worse by the fact it almost never works. This scene from Blackadder sums up the mindset perfectly:

I find that the people who are most against "bullies" tend to be pieces of shit and remember high school very different than what actually happened. It's like those SJWs who tell stories about how they used to be actual nazis and terrible pieces of shit and they just flipped from one extreme to another. "I used to be a Nazi, now I spend my time pointing out how everyone is a Nazi like I was."

In my high school, no matter what an autistic spaz I no doubt was, it was always the nerds who were the most judgmental and shitty to everyone. It conflicts with the mainstream media depiction of how nerds are in high school, which is most likely because these same nerds end up as cultural critics and writers. It's the same reason women are more likely to be insulted, date-raped, or publicly shamed by the "nice guys" rather than jocks and frat guys. I mean it's such a well accepted meme nobody even questions it anymore. Their pathology is much darker than a lot of people realize, they're just powerless because society at large rightly deemed them inane fags.

Nerds in my high school were pieces of shit and there's no question in my mind someone like Bob were quietly seething that they weren't popular while at the same time looking down on everyone with that typical unearned confidence.

I guess Chris Chan is the ultimate extreme of this, the self-destructive antisocial nerd who thinks he is owed everything from the world and spends most of his time ensconced in violent fantasies about taking down his imagined oppressors.

Is Bob admitting that Jews are the elites in that first tweet?

He basically bitches about why they still make these movies.
For a supposed pop culture critic, he sure doesn’t seem to realize that as long as a product keeps making money, it will continue to get made. Supply and demand, it’s Economics 101. But then again, should we really expect a guy who thinks we could grow wheat on the moon to understand that?

I think he knows that, but only applies it to Disney and Marvel content.

Not to mention well liked by the audience. That's why they are being made. But like you said Bob's everything but smart, self-aware, or even morally conscious of his actions.

Yeesh. What a suck up, but as always, Bob is completely in the wrong and I wholeheartedly agree with Dr. DeGrasse Tyson here. Despite what Bob wants to believe, the MCU is not art. The only Marvel film that I see as close to a piece of art is The Winter Soldier and the rest are really a collection of popcorn flicks whose main gimmick is their interconnectivity and world building. Much of it is paint by numbers at this point though Bob has the emotional maturity of a grade-schooler and the intelligence of a thirteen-year-old (at best) so he does not mind repetition.

As for superhero films that transcend the genre, I would list Richard Donner's Superman and James Mangold's Logan as two such examples. Your mileage may vary.
Exactly. Marvel movies are fun popcorn films. Nothing more. Nothing less.
That's nothing compared a dream I had the other night where I was shitposting in this very thread about Blobbo.
One time I had a dream that Me and Mola Ram, Kiwi Mola Ram that is, were working in an office building with George and Elaine from Seinfeld... I have weird dreams.

I really want those two to have an online debate or something one day, that would be such a glorious duel of gigabrain wits. Only Ian's Kung Fu of Facts can stand a chance against Bob's Ubermenchian Sumo.

Why would he care about unions? He can't stand anyone whose job is not blogging or other careers involving sticking large long objects up their asses online.

Being fiercely pro-union is a pretty standard left wing talking point. Bob likes to parrot such things to keep up his "liberal cred" or some dumb shit.

While I'm thinking about it, here's a question for you, Kiwis. Is Bob a crazy man with insane facistic beliefs who uses standard liberal/Democrat talking points to fit in with that crowd or is he a bog standard Democrat who makes up all this crap to sound like he's above all that but comes off as a fascist because of how stupid he is? I used to think it was the latter, but now I lean towards it being the former. Opinions?

I didn't watch the video, but maybe that was the point he was trying to make? That these movies suck so how are the continuing to make money and continue to get...

Who am I kidding? This is Bob we are talking about. This is far too :optimistic: for him.
