How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

3 words. They can not. The story is extremely non canon, and it would be a nightmare to get the rights for the 2001's characters. So no, Bob. This childish fanfiction will NEVER be a thing, you absolute dumbass.
I think Warner Bros owns the rights to it from the pre-1986 MGM library they bought from Turner Entertainment, if I’m not mistaken.

Yep, and Cali's economy is totally not tenuous in the least.

California is not as homogeneous as Bob would assume as most of the "elites" largely cloistered themselves in their urban enclaves in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Also never mind the fact that there is a huge income disparity in the state as well as leading the nation in poverty and homelessness. From what I have gathered in a five minute Google search, one in five people in California live in poverty, which is five percent more than the national average (14.7%). Compare to some of the "wasteland" states like Oklahoma (12.8%), Ohio (11.8%), or Iowa (8.8%). (Source)

Similarly, one in four of the homeless in the country lives in California. With it came outbreaks of Hepatitis A, which I mentioned was due to human waste left on the streets. Not something the fifth largest economy in the world should be proud of. (Source)

The real tragedy of this is that the there has been has been an exodus of the middle class, especially in the cities, which have become too expensive when it comes to cost of living. Some have the option of moving to a more liveable jurisdiction like Texas, but it is the working class that are really screwed because they cannot afford to leave and will suffer the most though a pro-corporate stooge like Bob could not muster two shits.

If Bobby is a cultural elite and Cali is so great for cultural elites, why haven't he moved there?

Realistically, I doubt Bob gets enough of an income from his freelance work to even afford to rent a "basement suite" in the seediest parts of L.A. or S.F. I also have a hard time picturing him in the sun. The pasty bastard's skin looks like it will melt right off if he spends more than five minutes outside on a clear day.

He does realize he IS the guy H. Bomber guy is probably talking about even if unintentionally? Bob spews eugenics level hatred of the “others” all the time. He is the first person most point to when they say the left is hurting their own cause. Hell the only reason bob isn't a communist is that he sees himself as an elite rather than a member of the prols.

thanks for making my point Bob

He's not even bottom-tier trash in his own sub-genre of geek culture, being registered as what is tantamount to a fungi infection that people are quick to get rid of or forget about.

The only relevancy Bob even gets these days are people taking the piss out of him, and rightfully so since he reveals just how LITTLE he knows about his own hobbies at the fundamental level.

The only thing he could potentially be "Elite" of is unwarranted self-importance, and even then he loses in that regard seeing as he spends his time trying to prop up his senpais and online waifu would-be victims just to get even a lick of attention.

Harry and Shaun are probably laughing at Bob behind his back. Even they realize how bad he is making their side look in public when Bobs twitter posts read like a 4chan trolls satire of leftist twitter posters.

Wait until he notices Conan, Godzilla, and Tarzan are all connected to Marvel in some manner and should be rebooted to be part of the MCU. Hell, if we're going after public domain/licensed stuff, let's throw KISS in the "Give them an MCU movie" bucket. A comic did establish them as superpowered beings on Earth-616.

Wonderful idea, right?

Great continuity, makes total sense to be rebooted as a Marvel movie.

He wants to turn 2001...into a Marvel movie.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a date with the business end of a shotgun.

This idea is so bad it gave me angina. Nothing new of course, this is the same dude who thought a Carebears cinematic universe was a good idea. Imagine if Kubrick was alive today and someone, not a kid, said "I loved 2001, but you know what would make it better? If we added Spiderman and Captain America to it. Why don't you sell the rights to the movie to Disney so we can make that happen". How would he react?

TBF HAL versus MODOK would be pretty tits.

I mean it would be an artistic abomination, but it'd be fun. Which is weird, because Bob rarely recognizes fun.

Bob would want Transformers in the MCU because of the comic series Marvel published. But would he be that much of a brand loyalist if Michael Bay was brought on?
Bob doesn’t understand the concept of licensing. Marvel only licensed various non-Marvel characters such as Godzilla, Conan, and Transformers as the owners to those properties needed to find the right publisher to make comics off of them.

Pretty soon he’ll be asking for the Power Rangers to be in the MCU because Marvel did some licensed comics of the Power Rangers back in the 90s, even though he’s obviously oblivious to the recent fact that the Power Rangers was just sold to Hasbro, the owners of the Transformers.

By the way, I’m surprised he hasn’t talk about Hasbro owning the Power Rangers now yet. Especially since Hasbro paid $522 million for it from Haim Saban.

But would Bob allow the MCU and the DCEU to merge, so that Amalgam Comics characters be in a Marvel film?
