Didn’t another podcast mock the book earlier this year? I don’t remember him getting as mad then as he is over this one. Is it another “bruh, your audience is too small for me to care” situations?

I dunno, I think the trajectory of the attack and its origin was pretty disruptive this time around. He may actually need a hot minute to double think his way around this pickle.Bob has completed his standard cycle of defense, BTW. He's clearly going through a lot right now and can't even.
Okay so he is just fucking with them, fantastic.
It's apparently an official thing. The other term describing a similar situation that became popular after Sinead O'Connor's usage of it was "Recovering Catholic".It bugs me that both Bob and Chris call themselves "severely lapsed Catholics". If you don't believe in God, and don't believe that Catholicism is the One True Church, then yer just a friggin' run of the mill Atheist. I don't call myself a "severely lapsed child" because I grew into adulthood. Nor would I call myself a "severely lapsed Canadian" were I to have immigrated to America from Canada. Or a "severely lapsed fat person" were I to lose a bunch of weight.
The only thing about Bob that is "severely lapsed" is his brain functioning.
You mean the recent tweets or just all of them?I can't believe that someone is pushing Bob this far. The only way this would be better is if a high ranking politician uses his tweets to show how violent the left is.
Ah the old Self Employed trick.
Is he actually fired? I'm getting the impression they're just screwing with Bob and Chris and will probably silently put Jack back in a week or so.Sooooo if he is fired, should we add "got a person fired for his memoirs" to the subtitle?
The irony of this tweet is that it could easily be applied to Bob. In fact, looking at it without context, I probably couldn't say for sure if it was supposed to be about this recent prankster or Bob himself.View attachment 1038662
Bob getting sympathy from just the utter dregs of the shit for brain dumbest thorns in the side of the online left.
Waiting for Neera Tanden, The Hoarse Wisperer, and that one lesbian who thinks the Russians invented racism in 2016 solely to hurt Hillary Clinton to come to his defense now.
We can still add "Tried to contact someone's employer for reading a section of his book out loud."Sooooo if he is fired, should we add "got a person fired for his memoirs" to the subtitle?
We can still add "Tried to contact someone's employer for reading a section of his book out loud."
That's completely accurate. And while they may have not have intended to get the guy fired (although them freaking out about it may just be because they realized they fucked up and were going to look bad), they certainly meant to get him in trouble in some way. Over reading a section of Bob's book out loud. Which Bob wrote, published, and is still selling copies of. Because they didn't like his tone.
Moviebob should know something about Jack Allison: He "believes" there is (almost) no such thing as a bad tactic - only bad TARGETS.Also this was funny:

Incognito Cinema warriors XP did that earlier... I'm pretty sure it was this year. I posted the videos in the thread.Didn’t another podcast mock the book earlier this year? Yep, this is the main take away from all this situation. Look, all this shit started when Robert tried the public shame tatic by bringing in other people and audiences to his skirmish:

This is classic "cancel culture" bullshit. You never say you want someone fired outright, because of course you are the one that will look bad in the end, you try to shame others by association and thus leaving no other option other than the person in question being ostracised. Note that when this happens, the people who are responsible for the "cancelling" always, always come out to say "it was never my intention to have *person* to lose their job, i just wanted to bring forth a concern I had about their behaviour".
That is why both Chipman brothers started to freak out when Jack went ahead and started to mess with them, because this cancel culture bullshit ain't so hot right now, and Robert sure as fuck doesn't have much goodwill or clout that will stop him from getting a barrage of insults and bad press on twitter.
And more than that, if Robert is at least attentive, The Escapist seems to be looking for a way to drag his content AWAY from their prized cow yahtzee, and while they can't outright fire Robert if they don't want to be called "alt-right", Robert gotta be aware that Russ Pitts ain't there anymore and his presence is a net negative. I'm pretty sure the escapist is looking for a way to quietly distance themselves from him, and when nobody is looking, kick his fat ass out. And this kind of internet dram ain't helping his case out.

Dumbass, the point isn't that you asked them to fire the guy, the point was that you are a pathetic whiner that complained about someone reading you book out loud with a tone you didn't like. He was fucking with you, he approached you and instead of just saying "nah, we are cool, it was just a dumb thing" you tried to make this "boss" take action against someone for mocking you. Just because you said "don't fire him" to cover your ass, doesn't erase the fact that you thought you were snitching behind someone's back.
