Marvel universe compared to Greek Mythos.

Marvel:
Just for toy and vidya sales.

Tries to be edgy in slump sessions.

No grounding of reality - ie black widow fighting hulk and winning or whatever. Heros die and come back all the time so fucking who cares.

Boring as fuck and pointless. Often a negative to society where black panther made retarded niggas slightly more retarded

Greeks:

Had morality tales that often taught valuable lessons to society.

Edgy from the get-go with Zeus murdering his parents and buttfucking cows and squirrels.

Had characters who faced serious and ever lasting consequences like having to push a boulder for all time or getting finger blasted in Hades.

Often entertaining with flawed but passionate and relatable characters.

Why does he hate the name Robert anyways? It sounds more professional. But I guess he wants to remain a child and CONSOOOOM
That's the best part about Bob: he spends all his time cheerleading the death of the blue collar working class, but he needs to be seen as "one of the people" so he occasionally tries to talk like a Bruce Springsteen lyric and the name Bob is how he sounds non pretentious.

Regarding the EU, I feel like I'm going crazy but do you recall the Netherlands dumping milk into the ocean just to keep their prices up and not accempt any more imports? I just can't find the news articles anywhere.
This sort of shit was in Spain shortly after we got into the EU. The milk dump (called milk crisis around here) happened when the EU set production restrictions on diary products. They couldn't tell the old farmers to can their production and eat their loses nor allow the new influx of diary products to flood the market and plummet the prices. So, they forced Spain to enact their rule and force the diary farms to throw away their products and close, because there wasn't room for them in the single market.

Same happens with pretty much everything. Like i said, there is a quota for everything so the prices are stable at all times. This means that you need permision before you decide to go for commercial farming, or else you risk getting shitcanned unless your production isn't that significant. In a sense, if suddenly a lot of farms start producing lettuces, the EU will tell the country to better curb the lettuce production now or next season before the market plummets.

I betrayed my anti-Marvel code and went to see Black Panther in theaters (it was for a girl - not worth it) and the only entertaining part to me was when all the black characters were chimping out and making monkey noises at the one white character. Everyone in the theater was laughing, myself included, although I feel like my motives for laughing may have been a bit more racist than the rest.

This is the guy who quite seriously compared the MCU to the Greek playwrights and mused on whether Shakespeare's plays comprised a "shared universe." Bob is very, very, very stupid, but thinks he's a God-brain.
It's been stated before, and it's fine to repeat: This is likely a lack of proper feedback during his formative years.

Possibly his parents were either quite lacking or very exaggerate in the restraining department, causing Generalissimo Bobo to grow up thinking his mind is one-of-a-kind that must be heard. Seems like nothing sticks more to his craw than not being taken seriously or worse, being criticized by whatever bullshit he spews out of his maw and Twitter feed.

Is it the general consensus that MovieBob makes a show of his interest in Transformers because of Ms. Ellis, or are his tastes actually that unrefined?
He's a child of the 80's, he once described Optimus Prime's death in the animated movie as another cultural touchstone on par with <insert wildly more significant tragedy here>, routinely whitewashes even the bad film adaptations of media involving his children's toys, and spent most of the late 2000's wishing he could get in Megan's Fox-hole.

Are you really surprised he's a fan of the modern Transformers movies?

Out of curiosity I checked whether Chris circular-donates to other e-beggars to inflate his Patreon number. Somewhat surprisingly, only three of his supporters donate back (their names in red squares):

Note Chris, for some reason, donates to something called TerfBlocker.

All these guys are tiny, tiny fry, with Patreon numbers in the single or low-double digits. The exception is Alex Shaw (185 suckers, $1219 per month). In two of the three cases the back-donors also give Bobby money:

I know you ask, so here's the list of beggars that hang on to Bobby:

The people in pink squares are all trannies. Banana Wu, Nick Parrott, and Jake motherfucking Alley should be familiar to most people (Don't know about Jake Alley? Boy you missed out!). "Penelope Pilbeam" is "Nymphomachy", a frequent orbiter of Bobby's Twitter. LauraKBuzz claims to have "gender euphoria" and will have a book called Things I Learned from Mario's Butt published soon. Biological Riley (Riley Constantine) is a relatively boring specimen who riles on Trump and J. K. Rowling, and thinks the world needs yet another queer reading of The Matrix films.

Many of the people Bob supports never create a fucking thing.
The only right Trump ever took away is them being enlisted in the army. The privilege to die in some middle eastern dirt box. What imaginary rights has he taken I don't know of?

The fact he's having financial problems and immediately thinks "I should do what my idiot brother that's so poor he has to live for free in my basement for a living does!" is hilarious.
It's Bob's aunt's basement, if I remember right. But otherwise, yes, Bob's basement-dwelling, debt-collector-dodging, childless lifestyle should not exactly scream "IMITATE THIS!" for a married man with special needs children.
Gotta give bob this, he sure bounces back from getting wrecked real fast.

Must be all the excess body fat...
Sadness, like other forms of pain, is unpleasant but serves a vital evolutionary purpose: it helps us learn. When we feel sad, our neural pruning increases, carving the lessons learned from contemplation of the cause of our sorrow into our neural networks. (Depression is the inappropriate activation and/or pathological persistence of this process.) Bouncing back quickly usually means that you didn't actually learn anything important. If the original cause for sadness wasn't actually anything important, of course, this is reasonable. But Bob's socialization and entire worldview is so thoroughly pathological that the learning process necessary to fix it would take years. If Bob were functional, "Hey, asshole, nearly everyone hates you" would be a huge clue that something major is wrong. Being back on Twitter already shows that he does not realize this.

I will state definitively that chances are 99.9999_% (infinitely repeating 9) that Bobbo was never spanked. And whatever the consensus is on the practice today, the fact remains, some people just *need* it (and maybe woulda been more effective than random bulllies giving him wedgies and swirlies). That's why he went to Therapy instead. That's probably why he had a problem with authority: in his mind it was mostly toothless (except detentions in schools which if applied to him would cause him to miss his favorite after-school shows).

Considering Blobbo's worship of Transformers (and being a Transformers sperg myself) and this whole Lindsay Ellis thing, Optimus Prime appearing to Blobbo in a dream telling him to stop watching Transformers when?

Special needs kids? Like, multiple?

The Chipman genes really are fucked.

Spain! Sorry, my dumb brain remembered dairy and associated it with the Netherlands. Again, thank you very much for the details. I studied this over a decade ago and forgot nearly everything.

Anyways, on topic: Moviebob is a white nigger. Even the BobMob trend faded after a day or two. /tv/ still has some Year of the Spoony threads but no one will remember Bob in half a year.

Does CinemaRobert actually think Transformers is good cinema? Does he not realize the whole concept is just to sell toys to children? Or that the movies are a prime example of the military-entertainment complex pushing war onto viewers under a veneer of robot-fighting action?

To think Transformers is entertaining as anything other than orgiastic violence is laughable, yet this guy seems to treat it seriously. What an absolute joke.
He likes the cartoon, despises Michael Bay.

I think he's legit a Transformers fan, but I have to believe the fact that Ellis' did a "feminist critique" of Transformers is not unknown to him.

He probably thinks that's another "in" for him to get in her good graces. I contemplated saying "get in her panties," but I'm on the fence as to whether that was ever his goal. I can't automatically assume it was, since I think Bob cares more about e-cred than sex. One would hope that even Bob had to comprehend that a relationship with the married, and more attractive, Ellis was never in the cards.

It's funny because it's not really outlandish for people to remember things like that from their childhood. I still remember Roy Fokker's death in Robotech. That was a pretty big deal in a kid's cartoon back then. Had he simply talked about the death of Optimus Prime like a normal person, he'd court plenty of people who feel the same way.

The part where Bob goes off the rails when he begins comparing it to real life things. That's when he begins to sound completely delusional.

Hey Bob's in luck! The superior future is finally here for him. (From instapundit)

Unpopular opinion.

Michael Bay does allot of overlooked cinema mechanics really well and the first Transformers movie is pretty damn solid.

Later Transformers movies range from terrible to mediocre and Bay has made allot of terrible films because he's mercenary filmmaker at best.
