Adult Swim had a lot more relevance back when it was the only place you could watch (relatively) uncensored anime on TV. People also had a higher tolerance for low-effort cartoons as long as they had swear words and adult situations in them. It's no longer 2003, though, and all of the stuff that people used to go to AS for can be found elsewhere and on demand.

By the time AS was really taking off I'd already discovered Newgrounds and was watching stuff like Egoraptor or The Steven Seagal Show, plus my internet was good enough to 'acquire' anime episodes without the shitty dubs so I really never saw the appeal.

Meanwhile, on topic: It's doubtless been said many times before but I have to throw out a semper fucking fi to the madmen who continually archive Bob's ramblings. First blush makes it seem like it has some potential, a downtrodden super villain that no one's heard of who's the head of a failing evil organization just trying to make a name for himself and they're not afraid of violence and blood?
