The Escapist has some things to say. He is, IMO, more than fair (perhaps too forgiving)...and SR (2022) still comes out looking like shit.
a couple of pages ago it was either you or some other kiwi that said that yahtzee doesn't go hard on whatever shit is picked to be the hated thing of the month so he has no reason to be harsh on it.

Embracer CEO says he is disappointed that Saints Row did not sell well, but he also says he is not canceling the series outright and still expects to have the game to turn a “profit”.

Incase anyone was wondering Sarah Arellano (lead writer) is still remaining silent about the game. I think the theory that someone who is a higher up at Volition telling people involved to stay quiet is true. Or there is an NDA or something like that in place.

When I watched that Hexagon britbong guy he said something about the remaster having random crashing issues, which turned out to be caused by an Internet connection. It's like the game tries to phone home at random occassions and that causes a crash, and playing offline completely resolves this issue. And apparently it wasn't just him, and it happens on all platforms, so that remaster is just a mess.

It annoys me that the retards who defend Soylent Row, most of who never played the first two games, have the audacity to get angry at people for not buying it. "They have a right to make the games they want!" You're correct, they do have that right, just like how they have the right to go bankrupt from that decision because the last two games they've released have been woke shit nobody wanted. I can't feel bad for a group of retards that did this to themselves. It's pretty clear their path after AoM flopped would have been to remaster or just release 1 and 2 in a bundle on modern consoles/actually put some fucking effort into fixing the PC port, but no, they doubled down and this is what happens when you try to angrily tell your fanbase that this is what they wanted. I knew the series was going to wither and die as soon as they moved it to Steelport and forgot all about wrapping up Dex's story (no, an unreleased 360 game and killing a generic NPC with a purple visor in Gat out of Hell doesn't count as wrapping it up.) I just never expected them to try to kill the series this way.

Christ, do you know who was Voliton's community manager until 2021? Mike Watson, AKA IdolNinja. So after Mike stepped down as his cancer was getting to him, Volition instead placed this schmuck in that position. They've replaced a guy who was basically a community titan and who was a true fan of the series and who was leading the efforts to give Saints Row 2 a proper PC port with some dipshit that despises the old fanbase and actively insults it. Volition is basically stabbing themselves in the stomach repeatedly with this shit.
