I love the entire Murderbrawl mission, and really enjoy Killbane as an antagonist. Killing him is one of the few times where an underwhelming victory felt intentional, rather than due to half-assed writing.

Booted up Saints Row 2 last night, the GOG copy. Decently fun so far. I'm only like 2 missions in but had a blast running around doing Mayhem activities. It doesn't support xinput out of the box though, so I'm having to constantly jank the controls and there aren't enough buttons on the controller despite being a port from the XBox 360.

Well it worked on them. The problem is not even whether it's woke or not, the problem is that it's broken shit well below Ubisoft tier sandbox with no fun or good weapons or upgrades, at least at first glance. There are some goofy fun weapons later on but they're locked behind tons of other shit and when the game's just not fun to play otherwise nobody's gonna bother to get the sticky jet football you throw at people and it team rockets them of into the sky. And most of those goofy ass weapons suck anyway and you're better off sticking to regular bullet gun whatever you were using before.

I'm willing to bet most if not all the people shilling it are paid or have some other connection to the company, like getting modded on the reddit or discord to swing around that miniscule amount of power.

pretty much this, having co-op even with randoms is a wildcard but with friends it's expected for you two to try and do funny stuff, although AoM really needed a co-op MP, i don't even know why volition didn't try to pick the old source code and add coop to it by copy and pasting SR3~4's coop code, probably too lazy to give a shit, fucking hacks.

It's funny they keep stressing how fun the gameplay is because one of the chief complaints every reviewer has is that the gunplay feels like shit and half your abilities are shit you could do by default in SR1-3.

driving always had minimum physics after SR2, it became goofier on AoM though because of the superhero theme, on SR3 the car has a bit of gravity to it and crashing from a bike at high speed will cannoball eject you. agents of mayhem doesn't have bikes, only cars.

can another kiwi confirm if this is a recurring bug with GotR installed? he shows up on the 5th floor, even when killed he still assumes that pose.

Given that it needs 2 million copies at full price to break in, even with Epic Games money, and add the shit reviews and the severe drop in sales after the first week, I think it's safe to say that the Saints Row reboot (and by extension, Volition) are completely fucked.

Where did they get the impression that Saints Row IP has at least two million interested gamers vying for a new game in the IP? Sleeping Dogs is worth 1.5 million copies ten years ago, and I think more right now, more people would like to see a new Sleeping Dogs game rather than Saints Row. Making a wild guess, I don't think a new Sleeping Dogs game can get a million. What makes The Embracer Group think that the new Saints Row game can get two million?
