It's just blatant shit talking with a veneer of 'comedy' because it's a 'comedy' podcast. So, if you get upset with it, you're going to get told you can't take a joke or you're thinned skinned, even though there's no joke there.
Exactly. It's this unwinnable catch-22 situation. People in this thread are acting retarded about this, and I think there are two reasons for it. Number one, some of them just rabidly hate Sam and are looking for reasons to shit on him - okay, fine, I get that. Number two is a lot more frustrating, and it's the fact that people are, as a rule, too stupid and spineless to understand what's actually going on here. You need a minimum level of intelligence
and a functioning set of nuts to understand what Harland is doing and appreciate that his wormy little jew bullshit is not comedy, and it's not even intended to be comedy. Wormtongue-type people like Harland thrive on average people being too dumb and weak to see them for what they are.
The more honest people in the thread have at least called it "trolling," but there's clearly something more going on beneath the obvious. Harland absolutely despises Sam, I assume for political reasons. He hides behind this aw-gee-shucks-I'm-such-a-silly-billy persona, but there is a seething, sneering hatred motivating everything that he's doing here. Sam, being a TRT'd up
noticer, instantly saw it for what it was, got furious, and decided to check the fuck out of the situation in the most legally-permissibly violent way possible. Was that a smart move? Probably not. The smart move would be to have not attended this dude's show. But I still don't get this thing where we're supposed to pretend that Sam was just roid raging out of nowhere and for no reason. Again, this is how people like Harland thrive - plausible deniability, gaslighting, and people being too stupid to understand the situation.
I'm also struck by how many people seem committed to pretending that Harland is funny, even outside of this ambush thing he ran against Sam. It's just random nonsense combined with weird gay mouth-and-eye movements. He might as well say "okay, laugh now! This is your cue! Laugh now!" In this thread I've seen comparisons to Tom Green, and that anybody who doesn't get it must be a zoomer. I am a millennial, and I can tell you that people like Tom Green have never been funny. Go back and watch shit like "The Bum Bum Song" and try not to cringe (challenge). Then I see comparisons of those two to one of the funniest guys ever (Norm MacDonald) and I'm just baffled.
