I legit don't understand how this topic makes people so rile up.

It's a fucking cart! Let the wagey tard whom the supermarket employ to collect carts do it!

Also to all the people here saying "it's a public place they can film you, it's common decency" first off you are wrong it's not public it's still premises for the supermarket and second of all the guy is filming you! That right there is cause for violence in my eyes... If some faggot comes at me aggressively about why I didn't put my cart back and pointing a camera at me I would totally knock him out, grab the phone and continue recording while grabbing him and driving to the police to file a police report on him harassing me on the premises of the supermarket.
Wow you sound really tough. I bet you've got lots of kills from your time in the navy seals.

The number of people who don’t treat this like a youtube gimmick for money and really think the cart narc cares about returning carts to the point of acting like ChrisChan after some China is disturbing. Dude is playing a roll just like every other youtube grifter. You think Markiplier still gets scared by scary games at what 40 years old or whatever age he is?

Some people get extremely agitated when others lack basic courtesy for one another. They do it, and they feel others should reciprocate. They feel making others feel as uncomfortable as them is justified.

Others get extremely agitated at the physical confrontation. They view the cart as a meaningless issue compared to the other ways we are inconsiderate to one another in life and view the confrontation as petty, dishonest, and a worse behavior than simply being inconsiderate. It's also objectively dangerous.

I don't know, I don't think pulling a gun on someone because they were gonna put a magnet on your car is a very rational mindset. That seems like a hefty jump to conclusions on the jump to conclusions mat.
Personally, when I see an aggressive person wearing a bullet proof vest approaching, a much more common outcome in that situation is a robbery, not magnets.
It's Texas. They love their guns, cars and standing their ground. The moment you draw a gun and tell them to get away from you, and they keeping coming at your car, it's all fair game.
I'm showing that person I am armed long before they are in sticker range.

In the US that is considered a public place. People have no legal right to expect privacy in public places. Some states are two-party consent states in terms of recording, but that doesn't apply to public places.

I've never seen any societal expectation to put your cart back. Almost all stores do that for you. I guess you can argue that you should put your cart back because its nice, but then you can argue that its also nice to go to the farm find and package all your groceries yourself and save the store the trouble. All it amounts to is shifting more work on to yourself for no clear logical reason. The cart gathering can just be considered part of what I get for paying the store. If the carrel is in a convenient place than I usually put it in otherwise I don't bother. In the grand game of modern corpocapitalism the soulless corporation constantly gets the better of the consumer. Why should I add more hassle to my life...no matter how minor to let them win more when some teenager who is going to be doing something anyway or be unemployed can far more effectively gather up the carts in one sweep across the lot?

it's that scotch Irish strain in most of the whites down there. You don't fuck with those people if I'm being frank. Same thing in Appalachia and the Ozarks.

This dude picked the worst state to irritate people. If he's not shot, some nigger will probably end up kicking his teeth in.

I half agree with you. I think the people shitting on the cart collectors and calling them "niggers and tards". Should probably just not shit on working people in general. I would venture to say half of them are spoiled neets anyways. I worked at Walmart in my early 20s and sometimes you just get stuck doing the shit jobs like collecting carts or scraping some degenerates shit off the bathroom walls.

Cart narc is a trash like any other reaction channel, I'd say leave the workers out of it though. Cart Narc annoys the fuck out of them too and probably makes their lives harder with irate customers

I had quite a fun time a couple of years ago leaving some nice "accidental" key marks on the SUV of the asshole who let their cart hit my car in the parking lot leaving a dent. I knew it was them because the dipshits forgot to remove the flyer from the child seat when they went back in.

Amazing how easily a clear-coat is cut through with a regular car key down to the paint. If it were late enough at night I would have brought out the putter.

I believe in turning the other cheek but that means nothing when it comes to teaching someone a lesson about respecting other people's property.

I love this site. This is truly why the Internet was invented. When I saunter in:

You're in a universe with gay M&Ms and you're wondering why people think he might be serious?

When I pulled lot duty at a place I worked, the best part was that because I had to play scavenger hunt for carts the Mexicans threw all over the place, the fat women inside wouldn’t be talking to me.
Save a poor teenage worker, scatter your carts.
Same, except at my Walmart. It was white trash and niggers that left carts everywhere. The spics were generally petty good about putting their carts up. It did save me from being inside answering some Karen's inane questions

You can tell a lot about a person if they're a cart leaver. It stems from a bigger problem than just laziness. This is a person who is incapable of recursive behavior. There is no problem with leaving my cart in this parking spot, because there isn't a car there. Their mind can't conjure up a hypothetical scenario where this might inconvenience another human being later on.

Ask a cart leaver how they would have felt if they didn't eat breakfast yesterday. They'll simply respond by telling you they did have breakfast, and your question makes no sense. There is no internal monologue. There is no life behind those eyes. These people are not the same as you and me.
Isn't it really the cart pushers who are the soulless automations? To push the cart in the slot is to be an unthinking machine that helps uphold the status quo. To leave the cart out is an act of personal rebellion against the system. Every unpushed cart is a wrench in the capitalist machinery that keeps the working man down. One by one the cogs come undone and the whole thing will come crashing down.

it takes two seconds to find out this guy did bits for a radio show and the fact he is a youtuber instantly makes him a fake persona for views and ad money.
Nobody thinks he's really some activist who's traveling the country to enlighten lazy pieces of shit about the necessity of putting your cart in the corral, you sperg.
