I should have said that even Origins is a cut above Homecoming and Downpour, Climax understood the series from the start better than any of the other western devs.
Konami did take the pics down. So they more then likely have some truth to em.
I will give credit to Shattered Memories for the best Western Silent Hill, but I will still give props to Origins. I really enjoyed what I played and the OST was great. Downpour was dogshit because a variety of reasons, but I at least respect the indie team given $5 by Konami to make a AAA horror game for releasing something. Homecoming is irredeemable trash.

Despite his many issues, I don't think that would work. Chris is already used to squalid and disgusting environments, the puzzles would have to be really easy for him to solve them and any subtle symbolism or horror would be lost on him. The town would probably decide he's not worth the effort and spit him back out.
