You know what I find weird about this artist is when the characters are not stupid or religious or whatever on the simpsons She instantly draws them black? Is it a fetish of her's to see Black people as non-religious or non-Christian type folks?

Of all minorities within the US, the black populace is by far the most religious, accounting both the most likely to be 100% certain in God's existence and the most likely to be religious in general. Smells like projection to me:
'I think atheists are noble' relates with
'I think blacks are noble savages' which concludes
'blacks must be atheist'.

Yeah, I don't get where tumblrinas get this idea that POCs (excluding Muslims) are atheistic. Not only is the thing of blacks, but Christianity (i.e.: Catholicism) is a big thing in Latin America.

Ah yes, Gelasticat. Her work is pretty common in this thread. I think you're being too easy on her; not only is her art mediocre, I can assure as someone who's read the comic that her headcanons have literally zero basis in canon.

Her drawings of Karkat in particular seem to be almost intentionally the opposite of everything established about him in canon. He's physically the weakest alien, it's been implied a few times that he has a Napoleon complex, all trolls have grey irses, and there's literally nothing feminine about his appearence. Gelasticat took this to mean that he must be fat, muscular, seven feet tall, and have huge painted lips and long hair.

Her anatomy is crap, her coloring is mediocre, her compositions are bland, and she rarely draws backgrounds. Seems like a pretty run-of-the-mill Tumblrina artist to me.

tbh, Gelasticat is a low-hanging fruit at this point when it comes to picking out Tumblr art. But her art is pretty much the quintessential example of what "tumblr art" looks like. It's so easy to make fun of, and for good reasons. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if she was "Patient Zero" for that sort of thing, considering the "tumblr style" took off just as Homestuck began reaching critical mass of popularity.

Why the fuck would Sideshow Bob be in a polyamorous with the guy he hates and the girl that assists said guy he hates? Plus he's a Republican these kinds of relationships would be considered degenerate to him anyway? So why would he actively be apart of it?

And here's art by black simpsons girl. Like last time I checked Mr.Bergstrom is Jewish isn't he?

So I guess Tumbrinas only appeal to tumblrinas. Cause I can't find a sensible person who would buy from artists like this. There are a number of Republican politicians who have done some crazy stuff like Rudy Julliani who asked his wife if his mistress could live with them, Senator Kregger was caught having gay sex in bathrooms and don't get me started on how Newt Gingrich treated his first two wives. But, yes, that would be extremely out of character for Sideshow Bob and Krusty.

Organized religions that aren't Islam are just oppressive and problamatic to SJWs. When they like one of the more misogynist and oppressive of them.

I've read it. Ryan North isn't funny, and he thinks that his readers are a bunch of exceptional individuals who need the jokes explained to them in a fuckload of footnotes. The only reason anybody even knows who he is or gives a shit about him is because he's friends with Andrew Hussie. Granted, Andrew isn't a great story writer, but at least he knows how to write a fucking joke.

If I recall correctly, North went on a Twitter tirade a while back about how triggered he was by RedLetterMedia on "behalf of women".

Ryan North over-explaining jokes has been a thing he's done since Dinosaur Comics, where it actually worked very well due to the format of using the same panels for every strip. It's become a part of his humor.

And I was reading Dinosaur Comics way before I ever got into MS Paint Adventures. so for me it always felt like the other way around.

Also, I found a tumblr tutorial that is saying you have to draw woman with skin/fat wrinkled stomach because another way it's unrealistic.

As far as Tumblr art style goes, it certainly leans towards being better executed, I'm just confused by the arbitrary race bending.

Funny it kind of reminds me of the work of Johny Negron

But compared to to them both Johny kinda executes this style alot better. Alot of these artists can learn a little from him. I guess he understands form better then these people.

The problem here isn’t even the skin color, cuz that’s pretty accurate. Dio is a British vampire and Pucci is a dark skinned/black Italian(-American??).

The art is still horrendous and Dio looks like a homunculus.
