A significant amount of secondary characters are also portrayed as People Of Color and/or trans, going against the wishes of the original artists. Because of course.

Rule of thumb- if you want to make your own version of a character, fine. Just make sure they don't look like things that even John K. would call abortions.

Because good lord, are there too many things wrong with this fan art. The only good thing I can say is that at least the body proportions are okay. And even then, that's stretching it thin.

I found out there's another body redesign from the same people who did the video game girls. Some of them are decent while others are pretty bad like the guys. (Of course, Power Girl has smaller breasts.) Their version of Iron Man would laughed by any group of supervillains.

Batman trained to the physical limit of human capability but just can't get rid of his love handles or beer gut. Shouldn't their redesigns look more like real life athletes rather just regular people? I love the reasoning behind these redesigns, to make them look like regular Americans. Well if regular Americans spent all day and night being vigilantes maybe we wouldn't be so overweight. Also regular Americans can't fly or have super powers so they should probably redesign those parts too.

Nebezial actually does a really good job with WW. I mean her being Amazon if I'm not mistaken, it's logical she should be bigger and more stocky than regular female.

He also does a lot of ''female humour'' that's actually funny and he does it in non-sjw manner.

This quote sums up tumblr art best. I feel that on a basal level tumblr kids are injecting their selves into these works-- just compare their cartoons to their selfies and see what you get. It's really quite sad in a way, that they can paint themselves in any way imaginable and just end up doing the most bitter, cynical caricatures possible. The characters are fat because they're fat, and they're clothed over because they're embarrassed; sexuality isn't expressed because they're terrified of it.

Then we all know what happens when they see something that doesn't reflect their image.

It's all just a generalisation of course, something I wanted to share after skimming the thread.

Nebezial is a pretty good artist when he tries and he can be funny. I just wish he put some effort in his line work and colors once he goes past the faces (which are often the same for his women.) I really like his body concept for Wondy, I just wish it looked a little neater.

I don't mind stylized art, but Jesus Christ. Meiko and Luka faces look like they're melting.

I'll admit that I don't read comic books, so when did the Green Lantern and Aqua Man become black? Why does Superman look like Metro Man from MegaMind? I have no idea who the green dude and the blonde girl are. Jesus Christ is the brunette supposed to be Wonder Woman!

Nightwing is the only one I like.

There is a black Green Lantern named John Stewart, he's mostly know for being the Green Lantern in the Justice League cartoons. Since the GL Corps is an extremely diverse organization with 700+ members, it's not a problem introducing a new reimagining as long as your not needlessly changing for change's sake.

I'm assuming Aquaman is supposed to be Polynesian, guessing because of their reputation as seafarers. Doesn't make too much sense since he's Atlantean which is always been portrayed as Greek. No idea what's up with the blonde hair though, although you could say the same thing about the original too.

Green guy I'm assuming is Martian Manhunter, no idea why they made him so lanky or gave him a suit.

I'm pretty sure "Nightwing" is either supposed to be Batman or some weird combination between Batman and Nightwing. He has Nightwing's colors and escrima sticks, but he has a cowl and cape like Batman (Dick hated both and intentionally didn't have either when designing his own costume), plus Batman makes alot more sense than NW in a group photo of the main Justice League guys.

No idea why the Flash is a woman other than for the sake of pandering.

Also like how Cyborg, a black superhero is left out of the picture, despite being a charter member of the Justice League after the New 52 reboot. I guess because it'd be racist if you'd change him.

Cyborg isn't in this is because SJW's don't actually care about black people. They only care about getting them sweet pity points.

There has been a black Green Lantern (John Stewart) and the ownership of the ring has passed to various Earthlings. The blond is a Flash ally called, Jessie Quick, and the green guy is the Martian Manhunter. I agree, the WW costume is full of suck.

Why are the colors so dull and boring? Also, these people (and a lot of SJWs) just looooovvveee to quote Edna of The Incredibles with the whole cape thing (NOT CAPES!!!!!). Now the others on that link.

Zatanna: If you want a young, goth, dark magic user, you've got Nico. Zatanna was a lighter look into magic use (DC comics magic user don't always have to be Constantine) and there was that Las Vegas flair to her.

These designs are just so forgettable.
