Well let's hope the other writers had a big influence because that certain writer i mentioned does good enough build up but it's in the climaxs and epilogues that he drops the ball hard but i hopeful the game could avoid that problem

Out of curiosity, were there any downgrades besides "muh puddles"?
 
Was the puddle even a "downgrade"? Does this game have dynamic weather and a 24-hour day/night cycle? I'm suspect if someone waited in that "Puddlegate" area long enough, they'd probably eventually get a puddle that matches what was seen in the trailer.
 
I tried it out today, and you know what, it's really fucking cool. There's so much to do and the game feels gigantic. I do think it feels a little overstuffed, but it feels a hell of a lot more fun than your average open-world game. The sidequests have a lot more meat to them than what you would see in a Ubisoft sandbox game.

If there is one thing I don't like, it's that Spider-Man's reach in combat isn't as far as I would like. I'm still used to the Arkham games' combat, where Batman will leap across the room to attack someone. Spider-Man meanwhile has a separate button for that (the web-strike button). It feels less intuitive. Plus I miss some of the web attacks the older PS1 game had, but those haven't really shown up in anything after the movie game in 2002.

I finished it yesterday afternoon.

Being a lifelong Spider-Man fan, I really loved it. The one thing I’d change is adding level replays or even a New Game +, since I really wanna see some of those boss battles in different costumes.

Really fun story, too.

Kinda wished I waited for Spiderman PS4 Pro instead of God of War's. Ah well, that shit sold out so fast anyways I probably would have missed out regardless.

I can understand it when using video games, to be honest. I mean... that's cornier and lamer than those JUMBO TRON proposals -- unless of course you met at a baseball game or something. Probably gives us some insight into what the fuck happened in his relationship. I feel bad for him all the same, but you gotta man up sometimes and do it yourself. Make it meaningful, make it about something that brings her joy. If that was somehow video games and Spider-Man then I dunno what happened, he did a decent job there... maybe she was a thot.

Quick skim was that she left him for his brother. So I don't think that's gonna happen. In fact I think he lost a brother, too.
