Even though I'm right? Neither the numale meme nor soyjaks from 2020 are being revived, and it's election year FFS.

Recently, I've been getting this uncanny feeling that the buzz around soyposting is fading away. The once chaotic 'jak spam, mass replies and quotes that used to resonate from /qa/ and /tv/ to /soy/ and /raid/, now only the echoes of silence can be heard.

It's becoming increasingly clear that the age-old practice of 'jakking has been undermined. At least on soyjak.party, it seems like the genuine enthusiasm for soyjaks has vanished from the face of the earth.

On the topic of something that isn't tumorous administrative drama, I would like to bring to everyone's attention soytan: The board-tan of /soy/. Originally a soot-era creation by a brazilian that has been cast-off to the jarty first by kuz (due to an icon and branding change) and later by froot (who for some time banned posting her).

Who do you think you are, you literal cretin? Soy-tran does NOT fucking align with the spirit of soyjak culture in any way. I can easily explain why, and hopefully make you change your mind, even though evidently one can't reason with the mentally disabled:
  1. Mockery: The soyjak meme is often used to mock a certain stereotype. This has been estabilished, and discussed at length. It originated as a way to critique the uncritical enthusiasm for corporate products and the authenticity of online interactions. Therefore, the celebration of a character like Soy-tan is contradictory to the original intent of the meme.

  2. Community Sentiment: soyjak.party is an imageboard centered around posting basedjaks. The community is more centered more towards the creation and sharing of these images rather than the celebration of a specific character, who is undeniably NOT. A. SOYJAK.

  3. Historical Context: While Soy-tan might represent a part of the history of soyposting, asserting that she preserves the entire history and nurtures our roots in 4chan, undermines the essence of soyjak culture, as /jp/edos have attempted to do back in /qa/. Notice how they successfully poisoned the old Booru with tranime images.

I won't reveal too much, but I work at a CloudFlare server room as an engineer. For the past couple of weeks, I've taken up a habit of pissing in the server room on the floor as a way to conserve time during my work hours, as the only bathroom in the building is on the first floor, and I'm on the third floor. The piss is almost dried up.

Look at /jak/, it doesn't resemble old /qa/ one bit.
