I think what makes Sseth’s reviews so interesting is that they are almost like poetry. Every little detail he puts in is for a reason, he actually makes an art of the stuff.

By the way, a 2nd Dev Jason Grinblat posted in this thread multiple times, here's his reddit account.
This post actually led to more stuff on the dev. One of them being Brian Bucklew's conflating dissent with cryptofascism
Jason Grinblat, went on a FAQ of sorts. It's as hivemind like as you can think.
His 1st point admits that Q-Girl is the dev's self-insert OC.
His 2nd point is just pure simping toward it. He's even fighting some rando calling it out over it, with a 3rd dev called Caelyn Sandel joining in doing a sales-flex. This 3rd Dev is a writer for the game.
His 3rd point is how you can't join any factions except one & Putus Templar doesn't have biased hate towards it. Which is a lie, cause their Discord showed that they think everyone who likes the Putus Templar are fascists. In fact, In the main questline, you have to side with tinker bears against templar & you have no choice but to kill Templar if you want to finish the main quest no matter your relationship with them.
His 4th point is just "everything is political & has to be" strawman. Tho the other dev is just as seething as you may think & calling everyone "dumb reactionaries" for calling out the furry commiefags in the name of devs.
His 5th point admits that there are SOME furry commiefags in the name of devs.
His 6th point is lying about how Sseth isn't causing this autism.
His 7th point is the "you can torrent our game, we know marketting" strawman. He got rightfully called out on that.
His conclusion post is just admitting that he made a safespace. Caelyn Sandel also congratulated him
By the way, a little more research on Caelyn shows that she supported Sarah Nyberg (aka srhbutts) while ranting about GG, claiming Srhbutts being a child predator is just a "gamergate hit job", etc. I think some of them might have been Something Awful goons who originally posted there about the game, unless I'm misremembering.
Laughing about banning Sseth from his server while saying "he deserved it". To which, he did get called out for. But that's not all, it goes further. He is seething about the discord bit & Q-Girl joke. In fact, he even blocked someone for asking what was so offensive & why the character was named Q-Girl.
On a side note, I found another Discord mod from this post.

Excited to see what he does for the other city builders. Pharaoh is an excellent game, and I'm still amazed that nobody has tried to imitate the Impressions style city builders (I think Lethis was one but something feels...off when I played it.)

Another one with similar pull, to some extent, is Mandalore. GOG seemed to have made Mystery of the Druids actually playable and put a discount on it when they knew he would do a video on it, where he also mentions that they were nice enough to do so. It IS blatant PR but the good kind and not the "Pepsi healing racial relations with a celebrity cameo" shit.

I don't see how this series merits 3 separate reviews. Don't get me wrong, they're great games(Zeus is one of my all-time favourites), but there's very little functional difference between them.

Pharaoh wasn't a great game. Seth needed to fill the vid with ancient Egyptian myths to elevate the game and vid. The city-building was actually shallow, unrealistic, and goofy.
Fire departments and architects on every corner, lol. It was an 'insta-delete' for me in the early 2000s.
But, I always enjoy his videos.
Caesar was better, but not much. Everyone was trying to capture the lightning that was the Civilization series (which was great, for the time).
"Give me more SOLDIERS, noble leader..." Still rings in my head...
No hate, but I feel he could really do some voice work, if not for his speech impediment(s).

As far as I know, he's a UK ex-pat living in Denmark, though I don't know why on Earth his accent sounds vaguely American. I really can't figure out how he came to have that voice at all, and he uses it in his livestreams. I can't tell if it's a fake accent to throw off potential doxing or what.
